|Life long resident of the Salisbury, Mass area. I became interested in this hobby a few years ago and my specific interest is in Long Hill Cemetery and other local cemeteries.|
When I first found the Find A Grave site, I was surprised to find that Long Hill Cemetery had only about fifty listed interments. Being that most of my relatives and friends whom have passed are at rest at Long Hill, as I one day will be, I made it my mission to document as many graves as time allowed.
Like many cemeteries of the area, Long Hill is an aging cemetery and many grave stones are becoming victim of father time and harsh coastal New England weather. Many stones lie broken on the ground or are no longer legible. If history isn't preserved in pictures, it will be lost forever.
Should anyone find a family relative within my posted memorials and wish a memorial transferred, I will gladly do so.

Do you happen to know if the marker to this grave was added later than his death? I ask because the year of his birth and death are incorrect.
Thanks for your time.

Thank you very much for the Cunningham and Eaton photos and transfers from the Long Hill Cemetery.

Thank you for the Fowler Pics. Appreciate it.
|Christy Martin||RE: Colonial Jack Krohn|
Dear TSE, Thank you very much for taking this photo of John Krohn's (Colonial Jack's) monument/marker and posting it on his Findagrave memorial page. I will check with his granddaughter on his correct date of birth and if I need to make a correction on that - I will certainly do so. Also - I will see if Colonial Jack qualifies for being "famous" and if so - I will add that to his memorial page. I, personally, think he is famous. Thank you again. You did a terrific job. Sincerely, Christy Martin

Can you please post your photo from #72996289 to William L Fowler #155133101 & Mary S. Sargent Fowler #155133277 to document them both as well as George, Mary & Carl Fowler?
Or provide me permission to post it for you?
I would appreciate it. TY

Hi - You have a gravestone picture for Clarence S. Morse (No. 696453860) in Union Cemetery in Amesbury. Could you post that picture to his wife's memorial? Her name is also on the stone. Let me know if you would like me to submit a photo request.
|James A. Culipher||David Merritt|
Thanks for posting picture of David Merritt's grave stone on findagrave. I also contribute to this site and no how many hours are spent finding, photographing and posting the pictures. David and I were Shipmates in the Navy and long time friends. David went through a hard time when his mother died. They were very close. Later he moved somewhere else and we lost contact. I search for him for over a year. When I did find him, I found out he had died. I don't know what happened to him or where any of his siblings live. At least I know where he is buried and will try and find his grave the next time I'm in the area.
Thanks for all your effort! Jim Culipher
|Steve Wallis||Regina Anne Frothingham|
Thank you for adding the entry and grave photo for Regina Anne Frothingham (1923-1975). For some reason, the location is marked as "Unknown".
Do you recall where the photo was taken? Since most of your work is at Long Hill Cemetery, was the photo likely taken there? Perhaps you are able to update the entry to include a location.
I'd also be interested to know whether the grave marker is in a shared plot, and who else might be included in the same plot.
