I live on the shores of Lake Erie in Erie, Pennsylvania and, like my father before me, I enjoy doing genealogical research. |
I have added memorial entries and photos of people and headstones with the hope that other researchers who have come to an inpass or may not be able to travel to their loved ones' final resting place may be helped. Photos on Find a Grave should never be used without permission, and the source should always be credited. I ask that if you copy the photo(s) posted on a MEMORIAL it be for personal use only. Please state the source of the photo. Simply reference that it is a photo posted on "FAG by Wendy Vogt Szallay and give the date." Thank you

You're welcome! I'm sure you noticed that their son, Daniel Ashmore, is also buried in the same lot. According to the cemetery records, Margaret Ashmore, who died in 1958 at age 86 is also buried there. I attached the same pictures to her memorial.

My pleasure, Wendy. In case you did not notice, I added the same photo to the existing memorial for Charles Devenney.

Hi Wendy. I'm not related to the Ashmores, but I saw your requests and thought it might be helpful for your research. I found one of the other Ashmore children, buried nearby in St. Joseph's. I added the memorial and linked him to his parents. Odd that he is in a separate location. Best of luck with your research - let me know if I can be of any other assistance.

My pleasure, Wendy. Also created a memorial with the same photo for Elbin's wife, Veronica Ashmore.

Hello Wendy, Fred has no marker, but is surrounded by family. I submitted a number of edits which should appear soon. Thanks, Kevin.
