I have reason to believe that Ms. Singleton's grave site in not at this location. This is a very small cemetery (9 at this time) and Ms. Singleton's grave is not one of them. Please research and move to correct location.

I was in Elba the other day looking for where John is buried. The library in Elba has a recent census of the Evergreen cemetery and there were several unmarked graves listed but nothing on John Lindsey.
Looked at the courthouse but the related records are no longer there.
I am John's great grandson through his son Ned Edmond Lindsey. I would live to know where John is buried and to know about your information placing him there.

I could not find a grave marker for the above John Lindsey in Evergreen Cemetery, Elba, Coffee County, AL.
He is not listed in the 1969 Coffee County Cemetery Book, nor the extensive survey that was done for Evergreen Cemetery in 2005.
Can you enlighten me?
My wife is a third g granddaughter of John Lindsey, above, through his daughter, Malissa, who married Temple Tillis.
