Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on genealogy for the last 35years or so. In the past few days, I have had the wonderful experience of finally finding a "missing" link thanks to Find a Grave and hope to "pay it forward" for others.

I love photography, too, so hope to be of help to others looking for graves in the Santa Clara/San Benito and Santa Cruz County areas of California.

The GAR medal is beautiful. Did it belong to William? Is it in your possession? It is a very valuable item so don't part with it unless it is to place is in a museum. You mention "his records" as the source for the statement about the accidental discharge of his rifle. Was this his pension application or do you have access to a diary he kept? I am researching Union veterans who lived in Fresno and one of them "Truworghy" is buried at Pioneer Cemetery in Watsonville.

Thanks for the good words, Hedi! Those who have served our great Country, are among the best of America.

San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, as I'm sure you will agree, is located in a beautiful, serene valley. It's the final resting place of many of those brave men and women, who served our Country with honor, and dignity; as well as for those, who made the ultimate sacrifice, and gave their today for our tomorrow.

Having had lost family members, and friends in all branches of the service, I find it a special honor and privilege to fulfill requests from families of those, who have served our Country!

A photo such a small gesture, but each is filled with gratitude and heartfelt thanks to those who have served, and to those who have loss loved ones or friends.

Again, thanks for your note. Keep up the great volunteer photo work too ... your photos are awesome!

Best Wishes Always,

Sharon, #47770935

I dont believe the Miller are connected. They came from the midwest but not sure their genealogy. That is my son in laws family. I am originally from Hollister and lived in Morgan Hill for many many years. Actually my family was a pioneer family in the Napa and San Benito Counties.
