Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been searching for and researching the ancestors of my family and my husband's family. It has been a huge task so far, but have found it to be very rewarding. Once in awhile, you even stumble upon stories or information that are a complete surprise! I feel that it's important to locate the final resting place of our ancestors so that the information can be passed on to our children and the future generations to come.

I went to Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville today, and took photos of other stones in the Ostendorf family plotů.I can upload if you need them

I have

Baby - 1931-1933 (buried next to Harm)
Meno - 1906-1975
Harm - 1932-1944
Chris - 1915-1937

The Baby is buried in front of the Ostendorf surname stone and the other three are behind it. All the stones match also.

Let me know and I will add (or if you just want me to email to you.)

Child M Beagle
I was unable to find the grave of M Beagle. I got the location from the Secretary of the Cemetery Committee. There is no headstone.

I just received a message from the group that placed the headstones in the Hastings State Hospital Cemetery. They stated that they found two different death certificates (don't know what that means until I see them. She is continuing to look into why no marker.

If you email me at I will send you the information when it arives.

During this season of Thanksgiving, it is a simple reminder that people care.

Pearl McCarty
Happy to help! Pearl is between Lawrence McCarty and Harold McCarty. Harold appears to be her brother. I created a memorial for him; let me know if you want it transferred to you!
