RE: Barber Cemeteries in Chatham County
Thanks for your response. The census lists two barber cemeteries-Wesley and William. The William location was severely damaged at some point, all the stones pushed into a pile during logging operations. The Wesley cemetery is well preserved and may not be completely canvassed. I'll be in Chatham county this weekend to photo some known cemeteries, and if time allows I'll go take a look at the Wesley Barber for you although my instincts tell me they aren't there or the markers may be missing. If you could come up with locations of other Barber cemeteries in the area I'd be happy to take a look at them as well. There are plenty of cemeteries not included in the census, so I guess there's hope there.

Robert B. Durvin
I'm preparing an article about the train wreck of April 6, 1889, which occurred just a short walk from my home in West Point, VA. I understand that Robert Durvin was the fireman killed in that wreck. I think that there's mention of the wreck in his epitaph, but I can't make all of it out. Would you be willing to share with me both the wording of the epitaph and any information you can offer about Robert Durvin? Thank you!

RE: Duplicate memorial
There is an email address in the help section to contact administration for this. Sometimes it takes them a while to get to it, but they eventually will. I agree with what you said. Hopefully one day they find a way to streamline this.
