Arthur & Jean Orr
Have found that these two are not my ancestors. Have several copies of deeds for land in Butler Co., Ohio, which I am willing to send (free) to a descendant who might be interested. My private e-mail address is llayman38@hotmail.com. Thanks.

I found Thomas Orr Thornton's death certificate # 20758, Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, he was buried in Blue Spring Cemetery with his second wife Ada. I have added him and attached both wife's.

Thank you,

I deleted my entries for the Orr family. I wondered who Abraham was since all the stones matched I knew there was a connection so I took the picture and let you sort it out. Discovering and solving the mysteries makes this fun.

Good Luck
Tom

Thanks for the offer but that is not necessary. I'm glad it helped and that's all the reward I needed.

Thanks again
Tom

Orr family
My great Uncle used DNA proof for or line. Shelton 1800 - 1870 to a Shelton 1685 - 1733. We have our ideas of whom it is in the middle, but no hard facts. Seems your DNA match leaves you with a wide range. I haven't really given the DNA much thought, but I guess the more males have their DNA done in a family, the better results to pin point closer. Have you had contact with many male Orr's, of this line? I've looked into William Campbell Orr, briefly.
Common names are not that easy to follow some times. I have a Alexander Foster, whom came over the same time William Campbell Orr did. Luckily we know where he ended up, but I doubt we'll ever find anymore. To common of name, to many came over. Will keep your name and let you know if I find anything new on William Campbell Orr. Will be working again on that family line soon.
