Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have found it extremely rewarding in the search for our family roots. Whether you have famous ancestors or infamous ancestors, you run across the paths that those that came before us took in helping to shape this country we live in. Take the time, enjoy the adventure, and find out where you came from and, just maybe, you could change for the better where you are going!

Please look over the 15 memorials that you have added. Of the 15, only these four are NOT duplicates: Alexander Long, Frank Long, George Norman Long, and Goldie Mae Long. Every other memorial that you entered is a duplicate.

Please help to keep the findagrave database clean of duplicates. The solution would be for you to add any photos that you might have to the original, and to send a suggest-a-correction to the memorial maintainer with the additional information that you would like added. If the person does not add the new info, after 30 days, forward your suggestion to edit [AT]

If the person in the memorial is a close relative, go ahead and request a transfer. "Close relative would mean your parent, your grandparent, or your great-grandparent (or, your sibling, but I don't think any of them were born recently enough to be a sibling).

I'll be happy to help you with your BEARD genealogy, and I'd be delighted to learn what you know that I do not know. However, please delete your duplicates to help keep the findagrave database in good order.

Thank you. :-)

Alexander Beard (duplicate entry)
Hi! First, it looks as if we are cousins. I'm guessing that you descend from Alexander Beard; I descend from his older brother, John M. Beard.

Second, the entry that you made is a duplicate. Here is the original:

It was made in Feb. 2010.

"Officially," the "official way" to handle this with findagrave would be for you to add your photos to the original entry, and to ask that person to add the information that you would like linked.

Without checking, I'm going to guess that you also made duplicates for Alexander's wife and for their son Alton.

Would you please consider fixing this, deleting the duplicates, and adding your information to the originals?

RE: Ed & Eva Mae Maggard
Oh you didnt offend me, I was just confused. There were 2 memorials for each of them and when i saw Beards you were maintaining I figured you were kin. lol. So i wondered why you didnt just request to maintain the first memorial is all.

Ed & Eva Mae Maggard
Ok I'm going to assume that you are related to Eva Mae because I've happen to know a little about her. She was my aunt and I really loved her and miss her alot. So I'm just curious as to why you didnt just take over her memorial instead of creating two new ones? I'm not asking to maintain their memorials, just curious i guess and also I have contacted Glenita who has the other memorial, I'm just asking the two of you to link Ed with his parents like you have linked Eva Mae with hers. I would also like to add a favorite story and some pictures if it would be alright?
