Just wondering if you are any relation to Alma Marie Asp? I'm looking for someone with the maiden name of Gustofson who married August Asp. He was born in Chisago County and they may have lived in Minneapolis.
|David T Mann||Lawrence Thomas Casey|
Dear David C, first thank you for your work, it is greatly appreciated. Lawrence Thomas Casey is my GGGrandfather on my mothers side.
I contacted St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery and they have no record of Lawrence Thomas Casey being buried at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. The only listing for Catherine Casey are the wife of James F Casey (son of Lawrence Thomas) and Catherine Casey daughter of Lawrence Thomas Casey. Have you seen the headstones for Lawrence Thomas Casey and Catherine Betts Casey 1831 to 1895 at St. Johns the Baptist? The Catholic Diocese charges $30 per request for information, wow.
As near as I can figure there are two Casey Family Plots at St John Savage MN. Mark and Bridget Casey family and Lawrence Thomas Casey family. For Lawrence Thomas the dates are 1818-1898. I just received his Death Record from Dakota County Vital Statistics, his death date is 8 OCT 1899, 78 years old for a birthdate of 1821.
Any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that would be fine to pass it to me, though I am new to findagraves and I don't know what the practical consequences of taking over a Memorial is.
She was the wife of my 3rd great-grandfather, Theodore Byington, who fought in the civil war. Their marriage did not survive the war, she moved to Iowa to be with relatives, and she ended up marrying Joseph K Rupert.

Just wondering if you have any more info on Nellie Rupert. I see you have birth and death dates, but no picture of gravestone. Do you have info on her spouse from the cemetery? Also I am trying to confirm her father as John Jay Gaylord. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Ron
Thank you for the photo of the gravestone for Adelaide Gail Jenks! I had not checked this site in a while and was pleasantly surprised to find your photo. Currently I am entering info on the JENKS/HAYDEN family tree on Ancestry.com. Adelaide was my maternal great-grandmother.
Once again, thanks so much!

Hi David - I just discovered that our great, great grandfather, John W. Latimer is here on Find a grave. I have looked and see no family connection to the other Latimers you have listed from Lakewood Cemetery in MN. Unless you can show me how all these Latimers are related I would like to take over "our" John W. Latimer. My Find a gravae authorization code is: 330683536
Many thanks for your help with this.
