RE: Happy Traveling
HI Charlene,
Well, I'm home from a long vacation. I got home a few days ago and went to Find A Grave to add a memorial page for my great uncle that I told you about. Low and behold, someone had created a memorial page for my great uncle and several thousand people at that particular cemetery. It's a very large cemetery and I don't think they have entered all the people buried there yet. I was sure surprised to find that memorial page so all I had to do was add the photo.
How have you been? Staying busy, I bet!? Well, when you have time, write back and let me know what you've been up to!
Your Friend,

RE: I really can spell :(
Hi Charlene,
Thanks for the wonderful message. I haven't been on the computer much for the last two weeks because I am on a driving vacation. I came to Pennsylvania for a wedding of a family member. Every summer I do a driving vacation which usually includes genealogy research along the way. I started out going to Idaho to look up the grave of my great uncle from my father's side and was able to find him. Now, when I get home in a couple of weeks, I can post him on Find A Grave.
As soon as I finish this message and figure out where exactly, or not so exactly, I am going, I will be on the road again as I head toward home in CA.
Take care and enjoy life! Will talk again soon!
P.S. your comment about Shari Lewis is very flattering to me as I have always adored her and her programs for children. I even have an autographed photo of her from when I was a young child.

RE: I really can spell :(
haha, that's okay, I sure have been called a lot worse than that! That's just my online name so it doesn't matter if you spell it right or not. My real name is Vicki. I somehow came up with that name a few years ago after having used Lambchop for about 10 years. I use both intermittently but Vicalina the most.

That census recording your doing sounds like a lot of tedious work. I know how tedious that kind of stuff is since I do so much info input at Find a Grave. Although, I haven't been as enthused lately...just burned out on computers I guess.

Talk to you again soon,

RE: Hi
Hi Charlene,
I'm glad you are back home, at least that's what I'm assuming. I hadn't heard about the fire. I will certainly keep you in my prayers and hope everything turns out well.
Sounds like you are the way with you email that I am with my regular mail. I hate going to the mailbox just to pick up a bunch of garbage.
When everything simmers down, I hope you had a fabulous summer.
Happy Genealogy trails!

RE: Hi
I wouldn't doubt it for a minute that we could connect our trees just from what you've told me.

My memorial weekend was spent cleaning, preparing for a vacation, cemetery photographing and spending time with my daughter and granddaughter.

Have a great summer!

RE: Peter Fielding Larsen
You're welcome for the transfers. My philosophy here at Find A Grave is that the memorial pages I create should be put in the hands of family or friends and not kept in my hands if they aren't my ancestors just because I created the page.

My interest in genealogy has changed several times over the years. At first, it was to help my mother's side of the family discover whether land belonging to a great-great-great uncle had been taken from him illegally. Then it was to find out more about my dad's side of the family a few years after he passed away. Now, besides being a lot of fun discovering new branches of the tree, it's to find out about my father's first marriage and whether he had any children with her, to find out more about my mother's life now that she passed away a few years ago and to help my half-sister find out who her real father is.

The Tenneys are on my father's side of the family but the branches are quite a ways out there. My father's family and ancestors were Mormans dating back to the beginning. I am not Morman but have been fascinated learning about the structure and history.

So that's about it for me. Happy genealogy trails!

Hi Charlene,
Welcome to Find A Grave. I've been a member here for several years and absolutely love it. I was on vacation last year to Arizona on a sight-seeing tour and a genealogy quest. I went to a lot of cemeteries where a considerable portion of my ancestors on my father's side are buried. I find it difficult to pass a cemetery anymore without stopping in and taking a few pictures to post on F.A.G. That's how I ended up taking the picture of Peter and his wife.
I have transferred the memorial pages of Peter and Emma to you since they are not, or at least as of yet, part of my family tree. I do have quite a few Tenneys and I even have one with the first name of Emma but it's not the one I transferred to you. You can now edit all the information as you wish.
I'm glad you found these memorial pages. Keep looking on F.A.G., you never know what you will find.
Happy Genealogy Trails,
