While compiling my own stories of family and local history I began photographing graves in response to Find A Grave requests to show appreciation for those who have done the same for others and for me. |

Thank you for alerting me to my false presumption! I have changed the memorial flowers!

Done. this is somewhat easier if you use the Edit tab and "suggest a change" link as it let folks click through to the memorial page or to you.

|Betty Bushey||RE: Ray and Ruth Sedin's daughter|
Hi Rob, glad to meet you. My mother Marian is the daughter of Ray's brother Walter. Jim is my uncle, and he is alive and well. I'll ask him about Lois' husband's name, but he knows more about business and sports than family history!
I have contacted my mother's cousin Jane, and she remembers Lois but doesn't know her married name.
Is there any way to search Union cemetary using the date of birth? I'm absolutely new at this and don't know what is possible! The year of death 1973 is from my mother's notes.
I have old family pictures I would like to scan for you. Would you be interested in exchanging e-mail adresses?
Yours truly, Betty

My great uncle Ray Sedin and his wife Ruth had a daughter Lois (*ca. 1927-ca. 1973). She had MS and I think she was married. Is it possible that she is buried at Union Cemetery, Block 8, Lot 30, Space 1?
I can only find her in the internet in the 1940 census living with her parents at 925 Hyacinth St., St. Paul.

Eliza's marker is missing or covered by turf. The cemetery office kindly sent me a diagram, but I searched in vain for her marker. It's been 5 years since I visited, but, as I recall, her plot was just above the head of Oscar's plot.
Thanks for all you do. Very much appreciate the photo and the effort you put out, and the message you sent.

|Phil Mullen||Memorial Photo James Mullen Calvaray Cemetery|
Thank you for attempting to photograph the memorials at the family plot for James Mullen recently. I was very disappointed to find out that the graves are unmarked but not too surprised. Anyway thank you very much.

|Joan Bartz||Sylvester P. Gockowski - unmarked grave|
You recently responded to my photo request and wrote the following: "Sylvester P. Gockowski, date of burial 2 January 1937, Section 81, Block 1, Row 5, Grave 17. In coming days, I will attempt to pinpoint the grave location, set up a temporary marker and photograph it."
Find A Grave automatically deleted my original request so I made another that you can claim.
I appreciate your efforts!
