I live in Louisville, KY. When I work through a cemetery, I often add every name, even if the date of birth or death is not filled in. It's honestly hard to tell "pre-need" from those that just have a missing date, and if I post someone who is still alive, I sincerely apologize. If two people share one stone, I generally assume that they are spouses. Please send me a notification if you want any posting of mine updated, corrected, or removed, and I will act quickly. Any of my pictures may be freely used for non-commercial purposes. Please credit "Nirvana at Findagrave." Thank you. |
I've finished with: Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Taylortown Cemetery, Allison Family Cemetery, Louisville Memorial Gardens, East, Harrods Creek Cemetery, the Floydsburg cemetery in Crestwood, and the Friend/Dailey Cemetery (Indiana).
Some of these cemeteries don't show 100% completion, and that's because people seem to add a lot of graves that don't really exist. Rest assured, if there is no photo posted from a cemetery I did, there is no headstone. I am pretty good about taking pictures.
At some point, I plan on tackling the Greenwood Cemetery in the west end, and the New Albany National Cemetery in Indiana.
Regarding edits: if you suggest them, I will approve them. It is my assumption that you know what you are talking about. I do not need any proof. That being said, please try to be right.
Please don't post me rude messages, either publicly or privately. I do this as a hobby, and I don't focus on it 24/7. If that bothers you, sorry.

You have Jeanie Louise Harris Fridell, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, listed as the spouse of Tony Edmondson.
#1) Jeanie is still very much alive, so it's rather grotesque that she's listed on this site.
#2) She and Tony were not married. Simply companions.
You have the relationship for William Shad Casey and Margie Helena Rankin Casey at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, listed as husband/wife. They are actually son & mother.
|Christopher Padgett||Thanks for the transfer|
Thank you for the transfer and thanks for what you are doing working the cemeteries more holistically. I've long that approach is much better than volunteers doing larger cemeteries by the ones. Thanks again for all your efforts -- it's benefiting a lot of people.
|Deborah Baker||2nd request to Transfer my grandparents memorials|
Would you Please transfer Mary G Baker Memorial #145164747 & John O Baker Memorial #145164746 to me. This is the second time I've asked to have both my maternal grandmother & grandfather's memorials to me. Original request was sent via edit suggestions for each of them separately. Now I'm asking again in a public message. I'm thankful & grateful you created their initial memorial pages. However, I have tones more information I can add to their memorials about their lives, who their parents, children, & grandchildren, even great grandchildren are, etc. Either you haven't read the emails with my original requests to transfer their memorials to me, or something else happened. Please don't make me ask again!

Good Morning, I hope all is well. I've a quick question on the temp WWI grave marker (white cross) photo on George you left a while back on his site #86667419. Do you still have that photo or did you get from another site? Reason is I can't make out the words above and below the No. 101 on the marker. I believe the 101 designates Hospital No. 101 that was at St. Nazaire. I was hoping you may be able to shed a little light on the words I can't make out on the marker. This will make a difference on where he died since the dates of the unit has them in both areas at the time on 3 March 1919 )Le Mans and St. Nazaire. I may have his death location and first cemetery wrong on his bio. Sincerely and In Your Service, Allen

Thanks for correcting the date. Not my dad, but a step grandfather to my husband. I am willing to take over the memorial. Is there anything I need to do for that to happen?
