|I have a passion for discovering the history and stories of our families, and have been collecting genealogy information for a very long time. Some family names/lines I am interested in: Lovelady, Bevans, Youngbood, Lindsay, Fretwell, Fontaine, Pibot, Arsius. |
Find A Grave provides a great way to honor and reconnect with our ancestors, and sometimes find a live relative. It is especially positive for those who can't possibly get to the locations where they rest, so they may view the virtual memorial and maybe photos. They can provide the virtual flower or thoughts, and it is a comfort and a healing to the living.
You can send suggestions for corrections or additions on the memorials I manage.
Memorials are not meant to show complete histories or family trees, but for some I have added a few highlights about the ancestors based on factual records, mostly gleaned from Ancestry or Family Search websites. As such, there may be occasional inaccuracies that need to be updated.
Uploading obituaries to a memorial page is not recommended by the owners of this site because of copyright issues, so I won't add those.
All photos are copyrighted by those who took them, including my family photos. You may use/print my family photos for personal use only. This means you may not publish or distribute those photos in any way, including on the internet, a book, etc. without my permission.

|Bonnie Ward Williamson||Youngbloods in Georgia|
How interesting that you and I both are researching the somewhat unusual surnames of Youngblood and Lovelady. It appears our common Lovelady ancestor is way back at Thomas Lovelady, who married Hannah Hix centuries ago, so we are VERY distant cousins.
My oldest known Youngblood ancestor is Isaiah Ilence Youngblood, born GA 1794 and died Perry Co., IL 1850. I was recently told a direct male descendant of Isaiah took a DNA test that ties him to the line of John Miles Youngblood born 1708 in Maryland, died in Richmond Co., GA abt 1787. As you have added info on Find A Grave for some of his descendants, I was hoping you could point me to your sources. Anything might help as this is new ground for me. Thank you.
Reply on my email if you would rather.

My husband is a biological grandson of Jester Prince and Mary Elizabeth Denham (his mother was adopted as a baby). We don't have very much info on his biological family but his DNA test is helping us figure it out! Thanks for the info and if I find anymore info on the Fretwell's I will let you know!

|Briana||David Lindsey grave & memorial|
Have you seen the grave of David Lindsey, Sr. b/ 1695
memorial #101790552 at the Lacey Cemetery in Shelby Co, AL or do you have a source for it.
As far as I was aware, he stayed behind in Philadelphia, when his son made the move, eventually settling in
Shelby Co, AL.
Where in Shelby County is this cemetery located?
He is my 6G grandfather.

|Janet Lovelady||Lovelady Family Tree|
I have genealogy information on the Lovelady family dating back to 1700. The work was done by my first cousin Nancy Jones. We are descended through the George Washington Lovelady line. Let me know if you might want any of the information I have. I also have a few pictures that I will try to put on this site.

Also, wanted to let you know that George Marvin is my 2nd cousin 3x removed, so that would make you and I related as well!

Yes Delorse, I would be happy to transfer management. I am not sure how the memorials were combined or even how I received the memorial. Transferring now :)
