Bio and Links
I am a member of the Mayflower Society and have been researching my family history since about 1988. I dabbled in it before that, but not seriously. I have to date ten direct ancestors that were in the Revolutionary War and many associated with other wars.

I appreciate the memorial pages and the comfort that they give to loved ones. Also, they are a wonderful pathway to the present and to our history. I enjoy the pictures and stories that are contributed and charish the memorials given to those in our past. They may be gone but will never be forgotten.

Capt. Asa Turner
I have just recently returned to Oregon from Maine where I visited the Brackett cemetery and saw the graves of Asa Turner, Lydia Turner and Caroline Turner Knox

Captain Asa Turner is my great, great, great grandfather. I am descended from his daughter Caroline. My branch of the family moved from Maine to Oregon in the mid 1850's, so it was such a treat to track family history.

I have two questions, are you the one that traced Lydia Hancock Turner to John Hancock? My family have believed we were relatd to John Hancock but were unsure exactly how. Since you are a member of the Mayflower Society, have you actually traced Capt. Asa Turner back to William and Mary Brewster from the original Mayflower passengers?

I would love to see documentation for the above questions. Can you help?

Sufference Treadway
I have been researching my Treadway family for some time now. When I seen that Sufference was on here I was pleased to see other descendants of hers on here as well.

RE: Asa and Abigail Turner
I found that out when I continued to research. I think I found the birth record of Esther G on FamilySearch. Will check again. Thanks! Chris

Asa and Abigail Turner
I am wondering if you have researched this family. I'm looking for info on a dau Esther G. born 1793 that I don't see on lists of their children. Could she be the Esther who married Daniel Foss, Joseph Scammon and then Joseph Turner. Thanks Chris Smith smithy@maine.rr.com

Captain Thomas Jones
I neglected to leave my email address:ancestrysearch63@gmail.com. I am related to Thomas through his son John. I would appreciate connecting. This legacy is very important to the Jones family line I represent. Thanks in advance for all your help.
