RE: Peter Miller Sr
No worries about delayed reply. I sometimes need to set aside my genealogy for a time to accomplish other things.

Be very careful using the Millennium File. The info is taken from submitted family trees, often without any documentation to verify the "facts". Any info found in this file should be used a clue & should be verified with primary, or at least secondary, documentation.

RE: Peter Miller Sr
Hi Dana,

Here is my source:

"Peter Miller Sr., died 30 Oct 1803, aged 69y, 10m, 10d."
Zion Lutheran Church, Spring City, PA.
Cemetery Report by Frederick Sheeder, 1845.

The birth date I have on the memorial is calculated from the death date & age.

I'm guessing the 1734 year comes from "History of Chester Co., PA" by Futhey & Cope, 1881.

Those are the only 2 places I have found Peter's birth/ death info.

Do you have any other source(s)?

Not surprised that the tombstone no longer exists - 213 years old.

Are you related to Peter? I am a direct descendant thru Peter's son Henry. If interested, I am happy to share any info I have collected about Peter & family, contact me at

RE: George Wilson
Thanks so much for all your help ... I'm just taking a chance he was buried at Commerce Village Burying Ground ... I don't have a date of death - - and just supposed that he was buried near his wife.

I was also hoping that in one of the sides of her stone - George would be documented???

The George Wilson at Walled Lake Cemetery has another wife and children attached there. So appears not be be the George I'm looking for.

I know that after the death of one spouse - the other may go live with a child and family - - I just don't know...

I do appreciate your time..I live in Washington so a little far to check for myself ..

Odd that both stone are a lot alike -

William H. Groves 1879-1948
Hello Dana: I noticed that a grave marker picture you posted for William H. Groves is dated 1878-1931. However, his memorial dates are 1879-1948. I think the picture belongs to the other William Groves, whose dates are 1878-1931.

Thank you so much for all the work you do and for adding my grandmothers memorial. I have included her vital information that was missing.. I manage my grandfathers (James Earl) memorial and this has enabled me to attach her to him.. And I have also put in a request to attach there son as well.. Since the calculated info is incorrect. Once again thank you for volunteering your time to do all that you do for people you don't even know, just know that it is much appreciated. Holly L Turner
