Stroud Cemetery
Wish I could tell you right where it is, but I can't. It is in a field, not easily visible from the road (9 years ago when we were there). I think it is the Lutson Stroud Cemetery, and there was a man named Shine Stroud who lived near it and took us to it. We were with a cousin from Kinston and she had an idea of what she was looking for. If you have contacts in Lenoir Co., ask them, or if not, try the Heritage Place library at the Lenoir Community College in Kinston. Likely someone there will know what highway it is off of.
Sorry I can't be more definite, but I didn't have the sense to write down the directions to it.
Have a good trip,

RE: Greetings!
I haven't done much research concerning Rev. Shuford Peeler. He married Bessie Moose and I am researching the Moose family in NC and finding this family is huge. Did Rev Peeler and Bessie have just one daughter, Anna Shuford? Thank you so much for getting in touch with me. Sharon

RE: Thanks: Abbotts / Hunsuckers
You are welcome, my pleasure. I found another dauther of R L Abbott: Lucy Elizabeth "Bett" Abbott Hunsucker as well. Plus more of them...haven't posted all of them yet!

Grandy Booth photo
I saw your request for Grandy Booth and parents at Raleigh, NC's Oakwood Cemetery. According to the online info there is no one buried by that name, but there is a Peter Booth buried. I'll check Peter's grave and surrounding ones for family members. Will all surnames be Booth, or would there be others to check for also?

RE: Joseph and Mary Booth
Hello again.....I saw your request for a couple of more of your Booth relatives out at Tar River Primitive Baptist.........I should be able to get over there in the next few days and will be taking pictures if I find the graves.

I was thinking that the slight difference in Mary's name on the footstone from the name you posted may be making this line a little tougher to trace.

Case in point....My maternal grandmothers maiden name was Alavia Kate Cox (Onslow County NC) When she married my grandfather my paternal great grandmother proclaimed the name Kate not proper (talking about controlling) and gave her the name Catherine ....she used that name for the rest of her 95 years and it is even on her footstone rather than Kate. I need to document this well for anyone in the family that should ever be interested in family history!

RE: Joseph and Mary Booth
You are very welcome! I just joined the site a few weeks ago and this was my first venture out. It is a relatively small cemetery so I just walked every row. Kind of exciting to find them. Are they family members or are you a researcher? Up until now I have only worked on my family lines and have quite a few pictures that I will be putting up starting tonight.

William and Nancy Brown
There was no Nancy Brown buried anywhere near William Brown. Is it possible she's buried somewhere else in Franklin County, NC? I know I've seen the Nelms surname on some tombstones but can't remember which cemetery!

Photo Request
There are no markers for the two photos you requested. I have taken photos of all the graves that had markers. It appears they were listed there because of death certificate facts.
