Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family history for most of my life. At this time most of my entries are of people who were directly or indirectly related to me. Names I am most interested in are McKown, Brice, McDonough, English, Carder, Kellogg, Foote, Terry, Webster, Douglass, Gillett, Hummel, Robison, Roush, Cooper, Hobbs, Allbee, Felske, Sreeves.

Once I get that caught up, I hope to post the surveys of some of our local cemeteries. At present I try to keep up with photo demands for about a dozen cemeteries within 20-25 minutes of my home.

If you find anything that you believe is incorrect, please contact me and I'll try to rectify it asap!

I give my permission for anyone to use my photographs - I would appreciate credit for them, along with being found on www.findagrave,com.

RE: Myrna Harrison at Alta Mesa Mem Pk
Hello Marcia,
I am looking into where this information was received from. I do assure you that I had a source, but because they are not my relation I probably did not keep a record. I would almost bet that I emailed the cemetery to confirm burial because that is what I usually do to set my mind at ease. Give me a moment to backtrack, I haven't been working on the genealogy and cemetery records for a while, I am a little out of practice. I apologize for not being able to find an immediate answer for you.

RE: Chambers, Lydia Mary Alice
Alice is buried at Eastlawn. Her obituary states interment at Eastlawn. Plus, my cousin was at the cemetery about 20 years ago and made these notes:

Eastlawn Cemetery

Alice Davidson
16 May 1956 [buried 19 May 1956]
Sec 1B Lot 5 Sp 2

Robert Arthur Davidson
10 Apr 1943 [re-interment date; originally buried at Greenlawn]
Sp 1

I'd say that the volunteer looked for her with the Chambers surname, which was indeed her surname at death. However, she is buried as a Davidson with her first husband.

I will add the plot information to her memorial and make a note as to her being buried as a Davidson, not a Chambers.

You are very welcome. But you can tell my husband did most of the work. Much of the marker was over grown by the grass. He edged the marker and then washed it with water and a soft rag. We wanted to get there before the snow came. Have a nice Christmas.
