Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is me with my Cousin (6 times removed) Isaac Beardsley in Longmont, Colorado. He's a Methodist pastor, and the person responsible for my interest in my ancestors. I've had the "genealogy bug" since childhood.
I'd be very happy to help anyone also infected with "the bug," but there's no cure! There's always someone else over the horizon. I've met some relatives I didn't know I had, and some kind friends along the way. Let me know what I can do to help. I live in the Central Florida area (Lake, Sumter, Marion, and Volusia Counties). I am a high school teacher, fluent in English and Spanish, and I can manage in French.
I like taking pictures and walking around in cemeteries, but I won't be buried in one. It's an environmental luxury future generations can't afford. I have a place staked out in my church's columbarium. I'm very excited about meeting everyone inside the Pearly Gates, but until then, we all have our work to do.
Feel free to use any of my photos--they're YOUR kinfolk! And please advise me of any errors.
See you on This Side, or That!

Thank you
Thank you for your updates to the records of Cecil Dibble and his wife Millicent Peckham Dibble. I would like to request management of Cecil's record as he was my great grandfather.
Best, Angi

Family Means Everything
Elizabeth Phebe Atherton Beardsley
Do you by any chance know how you determined that she's in Maple Grove Cemetery in Erie County Ohio and not buried with her husband in Colorado? Do you have her death certificate by chance? The reason I ask is because someone wants a picture of her headstone but I'm not anticipating finding one. Her parents don't have a stone nor does her son who are buried there. So it was her husband who got you started, huh?!! It's definitely a sickness you can never get over...there is NO cure. Ha! It's a lifelong journey too. Seems like there's always someone else trying to hide in the past. We find them one by one no matter how elusive they think they may be. I love it. Always feel like a detective. I've only been working on my family for past 3 years...wish I had started back in the 80's when anyone who knows anything about the family were still alive. Would have made putting the jigsaw pieces together much easier and without so many gaps! I help everyone out that I can along my journey as it helps us all. I believe if we all traced our lineage back far enough, we'd find we're all related anyways! :)

Please add the "Pelot"
maiden name to Margaret Cornelia Summerall's name. She was a member of an amazing family. Some people would think her claim to fame is as the mother of some important sons. But the higher ranking of the two gave her lots of respect and detail in his memoir. I think it would be his wish that you talk about her accomplishments, not his - which I sent as an edit. In addition to son's accomplishments, she was the sister of rather well known Civil War figure and U.S. Naval Academy graduate Thomas Postell Pelot and of less well known but accomplished Dr. James Malachi Pelot (Kansas Territorial Militia and CSA surgeon), the aunt of LCDR Gregory Caldwell Davison, etc., etc.

RE: Sandy Hook children
Hello, You are very welcome. I made a Virtual Cemetery today, for all of the educators of Sandy Hook. When you get a chance please take a look at it.
