Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm very interested in history, genealogy and photography. My hope is to help someone researching their family by supplying a photo of the headstone. I've been able to find some 'missing' relatives here, so I hope that I can help someone also.
If you find that I've listed one of your relatives and you would like to claim them, just let me know and I'll transfer them to you.

Great grandmother
I've been searching for info on my great grandmother Alice Bernard Flournoy for years. Thanks to your kindness I have finally found her! I came across her grave on this site and when I saw the inscription on the tombstone "Wife of Albert G. Flournoy," my great grandfather, I was elated! This information will greatly aid my continued research of my family tree. I was able to find her death certificate and shed some light on how and when she died. I've learned her parents' names who also are buried in the same cemetery as well as great aunts! Thank you so much for contributing! Cathy

Southworth stones, May 2, 2011
Great timing, Mary! I just started, last night, a family history for my nephew on his mother's Southworth line as a surprise birthday gift for him. Magically (it seemed), tombstones appeared on FIND A GRAVE. Seth & Otis (1) Southworth are brothers, sons of Joseph & Mary Southworth. Seth is uncle to Otis (2). Otis (1) was killed at Gettysburg on 1 Jul 1863 and is buried in that National Cemetery. Otis (2) lived with Seth's household for an undetermined time. Henrietta m. Otis (1), was apparently pregnant when he was killed, already had Otis (2) but re-married at a later date. This is a brief explanation, more details unraveling as I dig deeper. I use to live in Michigan, walked past Morton Hill cemetery every day and back while attending Morton Hill school. That was in the late 1930's. You can reach me, if you like, at: Thanks for your time in reading this. Barb
