So sorry I inadvertently reported a problem on your photo request for Charles Pender in the Millbank Methodist. Couldn't find a way to edit or remove the message. It was a request for Margaret Nicolls in the same cemetery from someone else. However the problem does also apply to your request. Virtually impossible to find. Cemetery appears to have been neglected for sometime.

Wish I could be of more help. Please read my bio and you will understand.

If there had been a picture of Mary Bennett, I would have taken it. I have a grandmother whose first husband was Joshua Bennett. Her maiden name was Mary Sanders. So, I think you should feel confident that she does not have a tombstone. I took a look at the 3-tombstone picture and the tombstones definitely are for John (on left) Asa (in middle) and Andrew (right). I bet the person is right. Mary is between Asa and Andrew.

You posted a message in 2014 on the page of Laura Ford stating that she was the daughter of Ebenezer and Mary (Gray) Hawkins and was born in Vergennes,Vt Nov. 18, 1793. Can you tell me where you obtained this information? Laura is my 3x
great grandmother and I am trying to document her lineage and cannot find any official records of her birth. (I was told records burned in mid-1800s in Addison County, VT). I would appreciate any help you could give me! Mary Hurt

Any relation?? Sorry, I guess I 'filled in the blanks' as I wrote the stones at Doan Cty are very hard to read. I guess I assumed this was the wife of 'my' Henry Knisley who is also buried at Doan and whose wife in my tree is Caroline (nee Price) with son David Price Knisley (also buried there). So I will correct the name and take out the relationship to them... D

Glad you liked the pictures. There's a fancy iron railing around the plot.
The grandchildren and I went there yesterday after I picked them up from the babysitter's.
Are you related to Rev. Cope?
You may find more information about the family on the easily searchable Northern New York Library website - www.nnyln.org - Historic Newspapers
