Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Kansas City area in Lenexa KS. I have been researching in person with trips and online for many years I search for several families, my deceased husband for my kids with him, my current husband, my sisters husband and more. I now concentrate mostly on my family and my children's fathers family. I am always willing to help people if needed. I rarely go to KC, MO so that may be out for me helping.

RE: Ballard & Stortz
sorry for the slow reply. I would LOVE a photo of William or any other Stortz. George and Cory were my Great-great-grandparents. I knew their daughter Valeria as an adult, she was my great-grandmother.

My wife (who seldom reads email) is a relative of the Ballard-Stortz line. We would love a copy of anything you have on them.

RE: Sophia Schone & John also
Hi Jo Ann,
Thank you so much for this message. Do you have email? I have a picture that I would like to send you of Gus Schone, who was the brother of John Schone (Sophia's 2nd husband). He is standing on the porch of his home at 235 N. Early Street in Kansas City, Kansas. With him is little Carl Anderson. On the back was written "Papa and Carl". For the longest time I thought it was the son of his (Gus) 2nd wife Alice Wilson but then I figured out that they never had any children. Then I figured out it was John's 2nd wife Sophia' child. I also have a picture of Sophia standing on porch of her and John's home in Manitou Springs, Colorado that I can also send to you (the one I put on Findagrave). I don't think I have any more of her. I just took a picture this week from someone on Ancestry of Sophia as a young woman and posted that also to her Findagrave page. Was that your picture? Sophia is very pretty. Thanks if that came from you.

I was just today wondering how to get ahold of your side of the family and see if there are any photos surviving. So this is a miracle that you contacted me today. Guess we are just "doing the Lord's work" and getting blessed from time to time. Ha.

I also was trying to find out more about Carl(Charles) Anderson but cannot either. He died when the boys were babies so there probably wasn't much to hand down in the way of information and pictures. The big problem is the last name Anderson. I am also doing research on an Anderson from the Schone family, August Anderson, my great grandfather (Married to Hannah Schone, sister of John and Gus. And this Anderson thing is a real problem. It's like John Smith. Impossible. My August Anderson has a brother named Carl but I think he stayed in Sweden, not sure. I would think that my great aunt and grandmother would have said something. They told me that only a brother named John Anderson came to America with August.

I have a clue on Ancestry for Carl Junior stating his middle name was Reynolds and he was born 4/11/1904 in Kansas and died June 7, 1958 in San Francisco. I have been reluctant to link it to Carl until I am positive that is him. Is this correct?
Wonder why Carl Sr. was in San Francisco at the time of his death when his wife and babies were in Kansas City?
There has to be a list of deaths contributed to the earth quake some place.

RE: Cora Grace Peachee
It does really get very confusing as everyone loves to have the same names. Oh well guess it keeps things interesting HaHa
