Does anyone know if the Stanleys here are from Stanleys in Fayette County and Henry/Rockdale County?

John T Chappell
Having recently discovered that I am a direct descendant of John T Chappell, master of the *Speedwell*, arriving in Jamestown 1635, I am collecting all the information I can find. On your Find A Grave memorial for him, you list him as being buried at Jamestowne Church, whereas another source implies that he returned to England and died there. Will you please share your source for the Jamestowne burial? It would delight me to "prove" his burial at Jamestowne!
Many thanks.

What is your connection to the Patton family? I am a descendant of Samuel English Patton. In the last couple of weeks, I have been working at linking children of Thomas Young Patton to their father; I have found 11 of 12 in Find A Grave. I think you may have been working in the same area. Maybe we can help each other. One of my roadblocks for many years has been finding Samuel English's parents.

Best regards.

RE: Thomas Dupree & Cynthia McDonald
sorry I had not returned messages in a while, I have just recently got back to working on my genalogy. Thank you Bill for all the information, I will look into all you have gave me. I have so many lines I am working on it seems like all at once, I have been passed down a lot of information, and a lot of old family photos and have been trying to get some of them uploaded before any more time passes by. I also have been trying to catch up on my familysearch page on LDS, I have a family member that is working there at the mission at this time, she has access to a lot of information, so maybe this will help some.

Wondering if you are a descendent of Thomas Pierce?

I under stand he had a son Charles Pierce (20 Aug. 1824 to 27 February 1903)
Charles had a daughter Rebecca (twin sister of Mary)
Rebecca married a Hart Reynolds. They had twins Mildred Mae and Melvin Jay Reynolds.
Rebecca was my great grandmother.
Mildred was my grandmother.
Charles would be my 2nd great grandfather.
Thomas would be my 3rd great grandfather.

RE: Messages & G-mail
Sorry Bill, I did not get any messages until now, I have not checked back in a while. I appreciate all your help. I will check into all these, I have been in the process of moving, and bringing things out of storage, I will look through anything I have and be glad to share with you also. Thanks, Sherri

RE: Thomas Dupree & Cynthia McDonald
It has been a while sense you wrote, I am sorry that I have not responded sooner. I really worked on the genealogy for a while then got away from it for a while. We do not have too much information on Thomas Dupree and Cynthia McDonald. If you have any info that would be great. My Aunt is the main researcher in our family, so she would have most of the information at her disposal. I will try to find out what I can from her. I would love to know more about them. Thanks

Thank you so much for the info of my grandpa. I don't know too much. I was 12 when he passed, I knew him very well but never too much info about his time in the navy. I know my mom was born in oakland in 1952. And has already passed back in 2002. My father was also in the navy.
But im super interested and happy to find out my grandpa was a radioman! We got brains in our family. :) that is so awesome that you knew him. Thank you again!!!
