I was born and raised in Hawaii, but now living in Seattle for 23 1/2 years. I have 3 children, and five grandchildren.|
I have been working on my family tree for about 3 years now, but the last 2 years is when I really got into it. I just love it! It's a journey of unexpected twists and turns. All very exciting :)
Surnames researching are as follows:
Archer, Achor, Blackmore,...

You're very welcome, Debera. I see you have requests for others here locally. I'll see about trying to get those for you too. I have leaned not to claim them until I actually have the picture. Sometimes life gets in the way. I'll make a note of them and try to get there maybe next week.

You're welcome. Glad to help.
|Vern-O||William Grear in Durham Cemetery|
Hello...I seen that you are descended from William Grear (Memorial #25785102) who is buried in the Durham Cemetery in Lewis county, Missouri. Have you done any research on his second wife, Isabelle? In the 1880 census of Highland township, Lewis county, Missouri he and his wife Isabel were married and he had listed as step-children Edward and George Jackson. There is also a marriage record of William Greer and Lee Jackson on April 29, 1866 in Marion county, Missouri. Maybe Lee and Isabelle are the same person?

I believe the one seated is my grandfather,Ole Holmestad.Mom always said her dad had dark curly hair. He died when my mother Hattie was very young. She was told he died from stomach cancer. Mom was born Apr 6 1907.Ole was the section foreman for Great Northern Railroad.

Hi, I just found this site. Ole Olson Holmestad was my grandfather. Hattie Holmestad was my mother. If you have any questions about them I would really like to help out.
Virgel was Obert and his 1st wife Ruth son. The son who passed away from pnumonia I was told.
Arnold passed away from TB at the sanatorium in Thief River.
Do you have an account with ancestry.com? Matching family trees are saying that Mathias' parents were William Brewer b. 1798 in Fairfax, VA and Eliza Jane LNU b. 1825.
I did a little digging and the only thing I can find is that this batch of Brewers a few gens back came out of Virginia, as do mine. Mine are out of Brunswick County VA and then into Tennessee. I think I must have been doing some research and came across the picture I posted. Pictures like that are such gems and it was too good not to share. That's the only thing I can come up with. Wish I could be of more help. Earliest Brewer I have in America is John Brewer who married Anne Skinner. They came over from England, to Massachusetts and then down into Virginia in the early to mid 1600s.
You'll have to help me out with memorial numbers. I can't find the ones your talking about. I'll be happy to share what I know on our Brewers. :)
I have added the two photo for Joanna, and Arnold.
The child, Virgil, is listed as Grandson b.1924 d. 1925.
All four gone in a few short years of each other.
If you want Vigil, create a profile and request a photo.

Yes, they are all in the same Strathcona Cemetery. They all lay next to each other.
