I was introduced to Geneology in 1980. I've been addicted ever since. |
I am THRILLED to make transfers to ANYONE provided they are going to improve & take care of the memorials and that I have not placed a RED FLOWER on it. BRIGHT RED FLOWERS indicate my family, relatives and V.I.P.'s. I won't usually transfer these memorials. I'm not picky about relationship, family or not. Just because I walked into a cemetery with a digital camera or I opened a cemetery book and created memorials does not mean I own anything or have the right to be difficult or greedy ....... I promptly fix mistakes and delete doubled memorials, please let me know! These memorials belong to US as a group and they are actually OWNED by Ancestry.com.- not me.
The TOMBSTONE and LOT pictures I have placed are yours to use for other genealogical purposes to include other sites.
This site is not called "Find-a-Document".
Documents take up what limited space there is for photographs of the PERSON, HOUSE, or tombstone and GRAVE AREA. Please respect the memorials I manage and resist posting copied paperwork or certificates to where the photographs belong.
If you have some corrections, requests, links, additional info., ect., PLEASE use "EDIT" tabs located on upper right side of each memorial for all these things, not this Bio. page or my Email. Thank you for your time and any help or corrections you can send!!!! !
I have great respect for "UNKNOWN BURIALS". If you have OLD memorials that are "unknown burial" and you want to move it to the proper cemetery just because you found my memorial posted there, fine, I am still HAPPY to delete my memorial provided yours is older and more complete. I will even move my grave pictures to your memorial if you prefer. Let us NOT have doubled memorials!

|Deana Glatz||Margaret (Maggie) Shannon|
A friend of mine ran across a small tintype identified on the back only as "Miss Shannon." We would like to identify which Miss Shannon it is.
As you have come connection with the Shannon family, and if it is OK, I would like to send you a copy of the picture - maybe you will recognize it?
My email is email@example.com.
Thanks for your help!
|Connie Mogg||Irene Hinkley Dean|
Hi, Todd, I think that Irene was the daughter of Luther Gibbs Hinkley (1808 - 1859) and Sally M. "Sarah" Daniels (1818 - 1897) (later married to Issac Allyn). Irene shows up in the 1850 census as their oldest child. She is age 14, attending school, was born in OH, and she lives with the family in Huron Twp. Erie Co. OH. She is listed as "Irena A. Hinkley". She is not living with the family in 1860. Irena was my maternal great grandfather's (Redolphus S. Hinkley} older sister.

I am a member of the Deluge Hose Co. #1, in the Newark Fire Dept., Newark, NY. We have been researching final resting places of our past members using pictures, plaques, etc. We have a picture dated somewhere around 1897-1899 with a Levi Dean in it. Please contact me if interested in a copy.

Hello, you seem to have researched extensively into the Steinmetz family in Ohio. I have an ancestor named Hannah Steinmetz (1823)... I see her having been born in Maryland and getting married in Knox County, Ohio to Isaac W. Cullison (1819). They moved to Greene County, Indiana however and I have no information on her parents. I can reasonably suspect she ties in with this particular Steinmetz family, however, and I noticed there are many daughters named Hannah born into these families -- just not one that matches mine. She had several children listed as being born in Ohio but was in Indiana by 1850. If you have any clues or info I would love to hear from you.

Thank you, I'll note that in my tree. As I recall her husband was a mason.
|Sashley||Cat Lady - Dorthy Mae Palmer|
You mention that you have articles and photos on "the cat lady". She is a cousin, but never met her. Would love to read whatever information you have available.
She was born - Dorothy Mae Grimm
Thanks so much!

|Jane Gilbert||Debby Roberts|
Thanks for creating the memorial for Debby Roberts (111021092). She was in elementary school with me, and she came up in an exchange on Facebook amongst several of us. It was such a tragedy, and I'm to see her remembered on FindaGrave.
