RE: Middlemist gravestone photo

Just added some more Middlemist headstones to the West Delhi Cemetery. However the spelling is Middlemiss instead of Middlemist. There is a George and his wife Henrietta and a Frank.

Also a Margaret who married a William Griffin.

I would imagine they all belong in your line as well.

Hope these help.

RE: Middlemist gravestone photo
You are very welcome. Listed a few other Middlemist as well in the same cemetery that may be of interest.

William McGreer
I walked the cemetery twice and could not find a grave marker for William McGreer. I did find one for his son. Beside his son, there is a stump of a gravestone. These two grave are probably 20 feet from any other graves. I am wondering if this couldn't be Williams grave beside his son's ? I do have a picture of it if you would like.

Martin Seekins
You submitted to FindaGrave that Martin Seekins is buried in Valley View Cemetery in Ellington. We spent the past two days there and could not find his grave in that cemetery. We also visited the township office and the clerk could not verify Martin is buried there because he was not among the seekins she had listed. Could you tell me how you know he is there? It would mean a great deal to find out where he is. Thank you

I just clicked on your photo request for Joseph Ward. I realized that the photo I took is not the right dates. This is the only Joseph listed in the cemetery. However there is a John J listed. If I get time I will go out again this afternoon and check out John J. If I don't get out there this afternoon I will at some point. Sorry about that. You can do another photo request or wait until I get it all checked out. I will add the photos either way.

I am sure yours is the right way as you have things that he signed. I would rather it be the more common spelling. My father's side spelling changed so many times you wouldn't even know the two names were related, it went from Marlot to Mellott! Even now there are two spellings from the same line.

Andrew Middlemist
Andrew was a brother to my great grandfather James. So many different spellings back then I will change to your way.

RE: Hi Kathy
Hi Kathy,
I sent you one that just said "test" and it appeared to go thru. No, I am no longer a memeber of, although I think I may join again. I was so busy at work that I didn't have time to do anything with it and decided to drop it. However, things are back to normal and I really like the site.

In any event, I would really like to correspond with you! We are cousins I guess since my grandmother and your grandfather were siblings. I will write more thru the regular email.
Take care,
