Bio and Links
Bio Photo U of MN graduate. I grew up fascinated by the stories of our families that my grandfather and my father and other family members would tell. As I get older, and as my elder relatives begin to fade, I have been increasingly interested in preserving the past as much as I can.

Maria "Mary" Erkintr Gronlund #111836480
Adam, I stopped at Grace Lutheran Cemetery today in hopes of filling your photo request. I was unable to find a marker for her thinking it should be close to her husband Frans's stone. I took a photo of the stone for Frans and upon closer inspection noticed the name Fred, died July 23 1918 age 34 years below his name. Are you aware of that and where he might fit in the Gronlund family? I would gladly send you that picture if you desire. Back to Maria, on her page the information just under her birth/death dates shows internment in Red Eye Cemetery which is not very far away from there. I did not stop there but did a quick search and found no Gronlunds listed as buried there. I would find it unusual that she would not be buried with Frans but could find no signs of a marker in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Let me know what your thoughts are. Regards, VernB

Leroy Gardner
Hi Adam,

According to the Lakewood Cemetery web site, Leroy's cremains were returned. His ashes were not buried there. I'm sorry for you about that.

You're welcome. There is a section of the Millview Cemetery which is called the Warren Cemetery and I'm sure most are your relatives.

Hello Adam...
Just a quick note to thank you for adding the nice portraits to the Bloom memorials in Chisago County! I just noticed them today as I was doing some additional research.
