RE: George W. Baker
thanks for pointing out my mistake
the Jarvis D. Baker I was concerned with had a son George W. Baker born 10/19/1872 - died 8/18/1877
I'm working from a family history written up some 75 years ago and a bit confusing ( Jarvis was my wife's 2nd. great grandfather )
I have removed the memorial for him as I now am not sure where he was buried .
I'll have to do some more study on him and his siblings who I have not located as yet either.
thank you .

RE: Winifred Free Hitt
Give memorial numbers you are talking about. As a wild guess you must be trying to duplicate an entry I did years ago.

INFO ON BENJAMIN HITT
Gordon, I am the cousin of the granddaughter of the Rev. Henry F. Hitt and recently acquired this info but I don't know how to add it to the gravesites. You seem to know how to do that since you have added info to Rev. Henry F Hitt's memorial, so if you want to verify this info and add it, here it is:

Rev Henry Hitt was the SON OF BENJAMIN Hitt and Sara Austin
(Ben Hitt, father of Rev Hitt) Benjaimin: b. 1832 in SC. D june 29-1862 in
Savages Nation in Rico County VA.
Mother of Rev Hitt, was Sara Austin born 12-20-1834 Laurens CounTy, SC
D 3-2-1903 in Gwood cty sc

Ancestors of Benjam in Hitt born in 1832:
F: william Hitt, b 1805 laurens cty sc
d 1861 in same cty.

M of Benjamin was Mildred Wells b 1802 Laurens county
d. 1875 in same cty. (Laurens, SC?)

I hope this is helpful to someone. Sincerely, gulie molkenthin
