Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been dabbling in my family tree for about five years now and have started working more actively on it for about the last two. Findagrave.com is such a wonderful resource, thanks to all those who contribute!!

Last year I've started taking volunteer photos. Having experienced the excitement of having an ancestor's photo request fulfilled, it's so rewarding to be able to provide someone else with that same rush.

John J. Martin 1807-1894 Kahoka Cem.
Hi Shannon,
This John is buried in a row (in this order) with Sarah, dod 1833 (Mother of Rev. J.J.); Elizabeth, dod 1888 (ss with John J.); John J. is next, then Dr. J.G., dod 1907; Alice, dod 1911; Ora Bell, dod 1882 (dau of J.G. & Alice); Robert, dod 1879 (son of J.G. & Alice); John Willie, dod 1875 (son of J.G. & Alice).
There are memorials for them in the Kahoka Cem. None of them have photos at this time. The notes are from Cemetery Inscriptions of Clark County Missouri (pub 1973) page 71.
David and Dionita are buried with (in this order)
Idah B., dod 1866 (dau fo D. & D.); then David, dod 1895; Evah R., dod 1885 (dau of D. & D.M.); then Dionita, dod 1916 (wife of David). I created a memorial for Idah - other 3 were already created. Again, the notes are from Cem Ins page 48.
The headstones are listed in the same order as they are in the cemetery as if you were walking down a row. It is difficult to determine exactly how close one grave might be to another (other than being next to each other) without knowing how many are in a row and how the ladies actually walked the cemetery. The phone # for City Hall is 660-727-2661 - I came across a comment that they have plot locations for this cemetery, you might be able to get more info from them. I hope this gives you some additional info to work with until photos get taken and posted.

RE: David Fisk Rhoden
My pleasure to be at your assistance Shannon.
I always do my best to take photos of the surrounding area. Some locations allow almost 360 degrees. In this case I took photo of memorial with Abraham Lincoln Gettysburg address, because marker of David Rhoden is facing it.
I avoid taking photos with road signs, electric poles, parked cars and people.
Looking forward to fulfil more requests from you.

Best regards,
Tatiana

RE: photos of Julius Rodman
I am interested in learning more about the Il. Rodmans as it links into Scammon, Robert, Sammual, Robert and Robert from Danville. We have received DAR documents and other from family within the Holder County area and making a connection with a family that is large with little connections would be nice.

You can find me on LinkedIn to see that I'm a real person if this is a concern. currently living in Wheaton Il and have traveled to the Rodman cemetery on several occasions. Best regards,

Troy Rodman

I was had hopes of learning more from you concerning the Rodman family, but I think my high energy in my notes pushed you away. If you are a real Rodman connection with interest, I would enjoy learning more. Troy Rodman
