I am trying to locate the graves of James Robert Stafford and Louella Eva Eaton Stafford.
My Father, Al Eaton, was raised by them along with his Brother Earl and Sister Lillian.
Do you know where they are buried? The last place I found them is Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1922.
When I was 17 my Dad took us to California to meet all our cousins and they visited us in Tulsa also. Virgil and Louis, Aunt Mary, Uncle Ed, Edna, and many others. We stayed out there about a month.
Trying to get my files together with cousins and such.
Thanks for any information you can offer. I have a tree on Ancestry.com My id is: kayeatonestes2010

While I know that our cousin, the late Toy Anderson Mayo, put a new grave marker on Robert Dallis Mayo's grave with the year of death as 1927, I always thought the year of 1927 was a "guesstimate."
I turned up evidence tonight that shows Robert Dallis Mayo died May 9, 1931. This information is from the application for a headstone that W. P. Shackelford completed for the War Department to get a headstone for a military veteran; a copy of the original application appeared tonight on Robert Dallis Mayo's page on my family tree on ancestry.com.
I also found Robert Dallis Mayo on the 1930 US federal census. He was 85 years old, living in the household of W. P. Shakelford & wife Nancy A. Mayo Shackelford in Tishomingo Co, Mississippi.

Nancy Ann Mayo Shackelford was the niece of Robert Dallis Mayo. Toy Mayo wrote in his book on page 205, "Nancy Ann Mayo Shackelford (daughter of William James David Mayo) called and asked what Dallis was doing. She said she would like him to come stay with her . . . Robert Dallis went and stayed with the Shackelfords until he died."

I went to the cemetery yesterday in attempt to fulfill your request however, the office was extremely busy and I was unable to get in. If you call them and get the exact grave/plot number and location I will be able to easily fulfill your request. Please add the info. to the memorial, along with any other individuals within the same cemetery you'd like pics of and I'd be happy to go back. :)
Yes Alberta was Stewart Sr's second wife.

The Odd Fellow Cemetery was the original cemetery in Paso Robles. In the late 1800's or early 1900's the Paso Robles Cemetery district was formed and a larger cemetery was established immediately next to the IOOF cemetery. A few years later, teh IOOF cemetery was incorporated into the Paso Robles District Cemetery. So today they are the same cemetery. I am not sure why they are listed seperately. I am attempting to locate the 5 or 6 graves without photos listed in the IOOF cemetery. There are just 2 graves listed in both cemeterys, Lucy is one of those.

You're very welcome.

Geri, FYI Your memorial for Camilla is in the wrong cemetery. You should delete this one and place her in Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery. your cemetery only has 5 memorials where Corona's has thousands. CRob

No harm done. I thought you had taken the photos, but you were the one who had requested them, right? I think Gail is new at this and didn't realize that you would be posting the photos she took. Take your pick of the photos.
