I was born in Pierre, South Dakota in 1940. Moved to Vicksburg with my parents in 1945 and grew up here, graduating from Carr Central High School. After receiving an MBA from Miss. State University in 1965, I joined the IBM Corporation in sales and marketing positions, retiring in 1995. During my career, I lived in Clinton, MS, Naperville, IL, Columbus, GA, and Boca Raton, FL. Since then, I've lived in Baton Rouge, LA, Westlake Village, CA, and returned to Vicksburg in 2005.
I am a licensed park guide for the Vicksburg National Military Park and thouroughly enjoy my city and its history and sharing that with residents as well as tourists to the city.
I also enjoy being a photo volunteer and look forward to every opportunity to provide a headstone/grave photo when I can.
Besides tours of the park and city, I also give tours of Cedar Hills Cemetery and motorcycle tours of the park. Come see us and, if you wish, I'd be happy to give you a tour!
