VIA FIND A GRAVE:
May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?
Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data).

Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,

Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Rockingham Va, Hardy WV and surrounding area.

A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.

Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25 feb 2015.
(When they reloaded it had there old dates like 2007 ETC...Making the other Find A Grave member look like they purposely created doubles)
F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.

Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

Thank you.
E49 Created above Statement

PS
If anyone gets Find A Grave to transfer memorials cared for by ProjectMgr Just a heads up I dont delete any connected to ProjectMgr.I worked hard to replace all the memorials that had been deleted.Find A Grave choice to re-upload the Old Deleted memorials And we work free on this site.So if anyone wants our memorials Have Find A Grave Merge them or if you don't have a problem merging then more power to you.

I do want to thank anyone that has helped with my duplicates created after the major upload of old memorials formerly deleted.I really appreciate the help

RE: Hodge Lineage
Hi Connie,

My grandfather was Floyd Paris Musick Jr. His father, Floyd Paris Sr. was married to Isabelle Spaulding (daughter of Roxana, Roxie Hodge). I hope you can help me as I have found no evidence of John
Hodge's father or mother or of his death. Perhaps you can tell me where you obtained your info. I also can find no evidence of John's wife Fidelia Clark other than where they were married. I am not on facebook but I have a public tree on ancestry.Ancestry members have listed a date of 1914 as death of John in Tenn., but I can find no evidence or even a census record. All your help would be appreciated. Donna

RE: Cpt. Issac David Price
Yes, I have an Ancestry account, my member name is dgottfried55 and my tree is FRIES FAMILY TREE, don't want to add David Price (1740-1825) until I have documented proof that he is Samuel R Prices father and also Samuel's mothers name and where they might have immigrated from. Do you have anything on them? Thank-you for any help you might provide. Debra from Seneca County Ohio.

Cpt. Issac David Price
Hello Connie, I noticed you left a note on Issac David Price's Find a Grave page referring to him as a cousin. I know that Samuel Price who is listed as his son is my 4XGreat Grandfather on my father's side. What is your connection to Issac David? Trying to find where Samuel's dad came from. Possibly your cousin, Debra: dgottfried55@yahoo.com

Thanks a million for contacting Find A Grave and getting George's memorial fixed. I was surprised that Find A Grave responded so quickly. That has not been my experience with them, but that was a few years ago. Are they responding more quickly now? Thanks. Larry
