Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Greenfield, Highland, Ohio, the sixth of seven children. I spent my childhood in Ohio, Idaho and New Mexico. I graduated from the University of New Mexico. Married my husband in Tucson, Arizona. We moved with our three children to Loganville, Georgia where we are still living today. I have been interested in genealogy since I was a small girl living in Idaho. I'm always happy to meet new cousins I never knew I had.

Ada Metz Mills
Joy: You left a random token flower on the memorial for Ada Metz Mills in Butler Co., Pa. This is a long shot and I know you hardly ever get lucky with tokens...but do you know of her, her family, or any other information? She was the informant on a death certificate of someone I am tracing and wondering how she may have been related. Thanks Rachel

Thank you so much for getting the picture of her marker. I've been researching the Dial family for a friend who knew nothing of her ancestors, and she is so pleased to find out about them and especially to have some pictures.

RE: Doris Bartley

Glad to hear from you. How are you related to Floyd and Doris, or sara? I just met in person a second cousin once removed a couple of weekends ago. He lives up in Tennessee and came to Atlanta for a wedding. We spent the afternoon together and had lunch. His great grandfather Clyde Blakeslee is my Great Uncle (Floyds brother). It was so much fun.
I live just outside the perimeter off exist 41 in Decatur. I see Loganville is about a half hour drive driving on Ga-10. I actually live right off GA-10 (Memorial Drive). I'm about five miles due west of Stone Mountain, the mountain. ;-)
Doris Bartley was my grandfather Floyds first wife. They had two children. Phyllis b. Aug 1926 d. Jan 2012 (married four men Raymond several times had seven kids) and Harley b.1928 d.1998 (no kids married twice). My grandfather divorced Doris (I don't know the year, probably 1928) and I was told he walked in on Doris in bed with another man. Doris died in 1972 of diabetes. She married Arley later on, but I don't any information on that relationship at all.
My grandparents Floyd and Sara Edna Blakesleen where married
in Bowling Green Ohio on July 15, 1928. They had one child (my father Donald Floyd on September 5, 1930). Sara Edna died Oct 17, 1972. Floyd J. Blakeslee remarried Aneta I think it was in the 70's. I will have to do some digging to find the date. She died in 1994 and grandfather Floyd never married again. He died on April 9, 2000.
If you are on FaceBook please look me up and send me a message and we can exchange email addresses. I don't want to leave my addy here for public display. ;-)

RE: Mary's parents
Hello, I would like to connect Mary's parents but they are not listed in the cemetery. If I have a listing as well as their personal numbers, I would be more than happy to make the connections for you.

RE: Thank you!
Happy to be able to take the pics.I forgot to check the photo requests before I went but I knew there were only a few stones that had already been photographed so I tried to shoot the whole cemetery. Some stones were not readable and I probably missed a few. I'm glad your's were still there. I hate when I try to fulfill a photo request and the stone is gone. Had a fun time visiting their cemetery. It was a nice place.
