Victor Cannon owner of Games Imported started in Petoskey’s Gas Light Village, Florida, and Georgia, passed away in Petoskey, Michigan. He attended schools in Georgia and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, graduateding in 1925. Mr. Cannon then attended the University of Michigan where he majored in music. In 1930 he moved to Petoskey, where he worked for Ed Behan’s Tweed Shop in Petoskey and Florida.. In 1956 he married Justine Tigert and started his own business in Petoskey and served his community as Petoskey City Treasurer and later Petoskey City Clerk. Mr. Cannon was an accomplished musician and for many years led a dance band that played throughout Northern Michigan. At one time he also played “Theater Organ’ in Florida. Mr. Cannon was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ft. Lauderdale; a member of the BPOE Lodge 629, Petoskey, a member and past president of the Petoskey Kiwanis Club, and a member of Bay View Country Club. He made his home in Ft. Lauderdale and Bay View. Survivors included his son, two daughters, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two stepsons, both of Nashville, Tennessee, and three sisters. Thanks for replying Tim. I had created the memorial for him at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey. Afterward, i realized he was not buried there and re-read the obituary posted in the Greenwood Cemetery Site. It was when i went into change the cemetery, that I discovered your memorial. I left the one up so that you would either see it, or I could copy what I had transcribed, and then send it to you. I will delete it. Thanks so much. (I am not a relative, but a life long friend of Victors son and daughter.)

Louvenia Anderson 1853-1899
Today I photographed this cemetery. All of

is LOVENIA Kennedy ANDERSON, she is a daughter
of Henry A Kennedy and his second wife Zelphy
Cannon Kennedy both of whom are buried near
