|Great Caesar's Ghost||Springwater NY cemeteries|
Hi - I noticed a while ago that you inquired of another member the location of a cemetery in East Springwater NY. I believe the cemetery in question is now called Pleasant Valley East. Hope this helps.
Regards - Doug

Hi- Curious how you might be connected to Sherman Green and his parents Thomas & Mahala "May"
|Carl Primmer||Zeruiah Root|
Tremendous effort and work you did on compiling the data on the Root family. Have a question on the above though, you have this name listed twice. I have found when the first listed normally dies young, they name a latter born child with the same name - I assume to honor the first born who passed away at a young age. Can you help me on this as your list contains 15 names, yet you indicated 14 children born to Samuel. At one time I did some work on Find A Grave but I'm too old for such work. Again outstanding work on your developing the Find A Grave for this family. Any idea how they picked the names for their children?

Thank you for the information; however, if you will click on the item just above my name on the memorial, it will provide you with the same information.
|M. Sean Dunn||Clarence B. Moscrip's first wife|
Hi Betty -
My 2nd great-grandmother's name was Esthmae "May" Frederick. Her 2nd husband was Clarence B. Moscrip, and her first husband was Albert Benjamin. She had no children with Clarence who was about 20 years younger than she was! But with her first husband she had two daughters. The first was my great grandmother Harriet "Hattie" Benjamin wife of Hiram Clayson and her 2nd daughter was Lula "Louella" Benjamin wife of Henry S. Clark. In the 1920 census Esthmae is listed as "May F. Moscrip". So your conjecture was correct, Clarence was not the blood grandfather of the Clark children, but a step-grandfather. Hope this is helpful info!

I think you meant to state he died NC, rather than ND. Correction may be needed. Thanks! Juli, descendant of David Hicks, Jr.
