John Dudley Reed
Born circa 1930
Died May 28, 1992
John Dudley Reed, of Springwater, died Thursday (May 28, 1992) at his home, with wife, family and friends.
Born in Hemlock, he was the son of Dudley and Margaret Fraser Reed.
He resided his early life in Hemlock and resided for the past 25 years in Springwater. He was a carpenter for 27 years, a member of Local #85 and was employed for the past nine years at Eastman Kodak.
He was a charter member of the Springwater Rod and Gun Club, a life member of the Grange and a past member of the Hemlock Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae; five sons, Charles of Ossian, Bill of Honeoye, Jim of Groveland, Randy of Springwater and Roger of Olean; two daughters, Ruth of Canandaigua and Rene of Wayland; one sister, Marion of Cheektowaga; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas of Hemlock.
Arrangements were by the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home in Wayland. A service was Monday with the Rev. Richard Haas officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Springwater Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Service or to the Springwater Rod and Gun Club. (GCE, June 4, 1992, p4)

Thanks for the note - I've removed the cemetery listing and it's now "unknown". However, I did a search for Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home

It's possible they would know where Elwin was buried.
My New York - East Coast Contact, Elwyn Van Etten of Big Flats NY died last year - so I would suggest contacting the funeral home in Pennsylvania.
I'm transferring Elwin's memorial to you.
My mother was Dorothy Van Etten Seidelman.
