George and Ida Voyles
I found the marriage record for George and Ida May Trego. They were married April 25, 1913 in Hawesville Hancock County Kentucky. I was previously married to Thomas Steel had one son, Herbert Steel. Living with her parents in 1910. She is divorced. Married Thomas Steel in February 1903. Don't remember the exact date. But Ida and Thomas were married in Hawesville. I have found no children for Ida Trego and George Voyles yet. George was born about 1889. Ida was born in 1883.

George and Ida Voyles
I did find an George and Ida Voyles, Daviess County, Kentucky. She is Ida M. Trego or Trig's. I think Trego is right. She is listed with George on the census records. Then the next census she is listed as sister in law to the Kirk family as a widow. Your stones don't have dates on them.

The other George Andrew Martin Voyles from Illinois parents are on their marriage records in Illinois are George Washington Voyles and Rowena Voyles.

Ida is in Kentucky death index for Kentucky. I think they are the right George and Ida M. Voyles you are looking for.

Looking at the census records 1900-1930. 1900 they are in Illinois, I believe that they are in Oregon from 1910-1930. The census records shows that George and Ida Mae Eller never were in Kentucky. On one census record in Oregon that they are under Voiles.

George and Ida M. Eller were both from Illinois. On one the census records for Oregon. I believe in 1910 he is listed as George and 1920 as Martin. The name that the defendants give is George Andrew Martin Voyles. I see no connections to Kentucky.

George Voyles died in 1928 according to the Oregon Death index. Also to be honest, I think there are two George Voyles. I think the family has him mixed up with another George married to an Ida. They have George's name as George Andrew Martin Voyles. I think their is two separate George's. George Andrew and George Martin Voyles. It has been a long time since I looked back into it.

I wonder if there are two stones for George and Ida. One in Oregon and one in Kentucky. There is a name for that, but at the moment I can't think what it is called. My great uncle Hugh has a stone in Tennesse and one in Indiana. Hugh is actually buried in Decatur County, Indiana. My information came from one of their Descendants.

Sarah Crabtree Viles/Voyles
Has it been proven that Roland Voyles is the father of David Viles? It looks like he is still married to his first wife.
