I do not know why either. I have a large batch of them that will not open. I am hoping that when the new Find A Grave is released they will come up then.

I am sorry, Rose. I did not see your message until today. I have never been to Good Hope Cemetery in upper Georgetown County. I live in Summerville, Dorchester County.
If the name and dates have been published and there is no memorial, I think you should post one.
One point to be cautious about is that sometimes the first name on a tombstone might not be the first name on a corresponding memorial, especially if the person was know by his or her middle name while alive. The name on the stone might be short, but the memorial might have been posted from an obituary that included the complete name.

Thank you so much for posting this memorial for my father. I am the oldest child of John and Nellie. He also had two sons with a woman named Melba but I have no idea what her maiden name is and I don't know the names of the two boys. I would appreciate any other information you may have about him as we had been separated for many years before his death.
Thank you again, sincerely Connie Carroll Williams.

It's ok. I took pictures of the one you request.
Hi, to be honest, I looked Prosser in Mount Hope Cemetery. Because I took a picture of 2 gravestones and the Prosser Memorial. I am going to post the Prosser Memorial and do further looking tomorrow. Be blessed. I'm praying for the rain to stay away while I'm searching and taking pictures.
|Mary Lou McCormick||Rosa Etta Powell Stone (1901-1959)|
Hi concerning your question about Rosa's age, yes she was 58 years and 26 days when she died...
Her date of birth and death are on her headstone and her age is mentioned in her obituary which is on her memorial page Find A Grave Memorial# 91776697
Thanks, Mary Lou
Saw your comment about date. Can u read it? What does it look like to u?
