Born in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. My father was born Crabb in Easton, Maine. His father was born in New Brunswick, Canada. The Crabbs are a Loyalist family coming to what is now New Brunswick from Westchester County, NY at the end of the Revolutionary War.
My mother was a Merrill, the first of our line in Dover, Maine, about 1821, being True Merrill. Our whole line is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.

David Johnston - Mt Pleasant
Hi Duane,

Do you know exactly where in the cemetery to look? I found one burial site without a headstone, just a small display of flowers, but no name. It's right in the corner by some fencing and attached to the fencing is a ball cap and a miniature novelty license plate that says, "Dave". I'm not sure if this is the same David or not. If you want, I can send you the photo but I don't want to upload it until I know for certain.

William and Mary Foster
Hi Duane
You added the Fosters to the Alexander Gibson Cemetery and I Know why, the obit states that cemetery. But they are both interred in the Marysville Baptist extension. The cemeteries butt up against each other, but the Fosters are actually in the Baptist Extension, and listed there. Marilyn

John Crab Sr (1741-?) was married to Elizabeth Bassett as you show on the Find A Grave Memorial# 129102320 then he IS NOT THE SON of Lemuel Jenkins Crabb (1799-1865) as you stated in your message as the John Crabb who is the son of Lemuel Jenkins Crabb (1799-1865)was not born until 1830 by which time John Crab Sr (1741-?) who I was talking about would be at least 89 years old.

RE: Giberson request
I noticed that I had already gotten a picture of of Watts Giberson a while back. I'll try to get a picture for Allen this week. I'm surprised I didn't get his already as they are buried in the same plot. I normally do take pictures of everyone in the plot with the same surname.

Giberson request
I posted a picture of Rice Giberson's headstone & Plot. The headstone is one that is hard to photograph but I did my best. I also found Bunyon Giberson, Allen Giberson and Watts Giberson listed in the same cemetery, however, not in the same area. I did get a picture of the Bunyon Giberson plot, but forgot to look for Allen & Watts. If these are also your Gibersons, I will be happy to get a picture of their gravesites as well. I'm usually at the cemetery once a week so it's not problem. Just thought you might want to know about these other Gibersons in case they are related.

RE: Hannah C. Priest Berrick 162943449
Done! I think the confusion is probably due to the fact that Old English was also referred to as "Lowell City Cemetery #02" a long time ago. If I have a chance to get back into the cemetery, I will try to take a better photo. The sun was shining from a difficult angle when I took the current one today. Enjoy and best wishes.

Hannah C. Priest Berrick 162943449
Hello Duane,
Today I had the rare chance to enter the Old English Cemetery in Lowell. I ran across the grave of Hannah C. Priest Berrick. After I made a memorial for her, (180124600) I noticed you have a memorial for her in the Lowell Cemetery (which is where her death certificate says she was headed). Would you like me to transfer my Hannah to you so you can combine information as you see fit? Best regards, JO (Julie)
