William C Brookshire
Thank you for all your work. I'm inquiring about William C Brookshire buried in the Dodson Cemetery. The cemetery is being restored and we are putting together a book about the people buried in the cemetery. I have family there. Do you know anything else about William Brookshire?

Wondering if all the photos you requested are family members.

Tam Brooks (mistake) - Lilla Brooks (correct)
Hi Barbara, It is very confusing, but yes you have the right place. Somehow baby girl Lilla got listed and Tam and Little Bro. There is no Little Bro(ther). Tam was Lilla's father and Dora was Lilla' mother. Tam and Dora were my great grandparents and are buried in Old Hillsboro Cemetery. I have an e-mail into the creator of the page asking for transfer which will help me get it straigtened out and link her to her folks, and get rid of any notion that Tam Brooks is buried with her. I can't correct the names, dtes, relationships unless she will transfer. Thanks for double checking. Delina

Lillla Brooks - Peoria Cemetery
Thank you very much for the fine quality readable photo of the tombstone for Lilla Brooks.
As far as I can tell there was no brother involved in this stone. Lilla was the daughter of Tam (Tamerlane X. Brooks) and Dora (Mary Medora Smith Brooks). They lived in Peoria at this time. I'm going to write this same information to the creator of the page. Thanks again for your wonderful work. Delina

Thank You from WA State
Thank you for taking time out of your day today for me and getting the headstone photo of Josh Mills taken and up online. I appreciate all the F.A.G. volunteers who are willing to do this for complete strangers. Your time is as valuable as mine.

RE: Steiner Valley Cemetery
Thank you for getting back to me, And yes I agree about waiting until winter due to the rattlesnake problem. I am trying to recruit several who may want to form a cleanup crew but so far no luck. I have many family members buried at Steiner including 2 gg grandfathers. Please contact me if and when you schedule going back. Thanks again and will wait to hear from you in the future. Steiner Valley Cemetery
Hello Barbara, I was reading a post you added on a photo request about the Steiner Valley Cemetery. I have been trying for quite some time to get access to that cemetery with no luck. I am VERY interested in that cemetery as I have several family members that were buried there but I have found no concrete evidence they are buried there. One in particular is my great great grandfather, George Washington Thomas Ward. And another great grandfather James Madison Baker. I would really like to team up with you when you do go back to that cemetery just to be able to look for certain headstones. It is so sad to me that a cemetery with that type of history is allowed to grow up and never have access to it. I have been trying to locate someone to maybe be able to go in there and do some clearing and mowing. My husband is willing to go out there and mow. Since it is on private property I don't know if they will be willing to let anyone do that. It's just a shame that it is in such a state.
Anyway, if you are even interested, please let me know. I have been very interested in the Steiner Valley cemetery just for its historic history. Regards, Mary Baker Burrow my email is:
