Wow! You've spent the better part of two days trying to learn things and get this all figured out. It will be completed within a day or so. No worries. I feel so sad for Gordon being only 13 years old when he left this life. And being that he has no offspring, you must be the closest one. I'll be happy to transfer the memorial to you. Marjorie's name will remain on the memorial as creator. I'd like to wait and see that the duplicate is taken care of first. It's a great day when we see that relatives are found!

RE: Gordon Loken #62027166
It wasn't me who found him - Zoe did (Find A Grave member #47303694) and took the Loken headstone photo. She figured out that his last name was originally recorded incorrectly. It was Gordon Pheliph.

I have the same problem with deleting when you are the person maintaining a memorial. When you go to delete it, it will ask you -Reason for deletion. The pull down menu has one that says -duplicate memorial. Be sure to give them The Find A Grave number of the other memorial - #62027166. Find A Grave administrators will then delete it. Appreciate all you're doing to help out. Thanks.

Loken marker
The Gone But Forgotten Loken headstone is the actual marker in the cemetery.

RE: Gordon Loken #62027166
It appears that there are now 2 memorials in Oak Grove for Gordon. Since the above #62027166 was correctly placed first, please delete yours. Also copying & pasting other's photos is not allowed. Thanks.

Gordon Loken
I cannot find a record of a Gordon Loken buried in Hibbing Park Cemetery. Searched on all Loken and Lokken, and all given name Gordon. 1910 census shows Gordon living in Nidaros, MN with parents John & Johanna and siblings Mabel 12, Henry 9, Lawrence 2. At that time there are church records for the family at Nidaros Lutheran Church (indexed under Vining Lutheran in Vining, MNas name changed 1943) . According to the U.S. Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Records 1875-1940, Gordon was baptized in Vining Lutheran Church on 04 Jun 1905. There is an interesting biography of John H. Loken in The History of Otter Tail County, MN: it's people, industries, and institutions on page 89-90 publ 1916 that lists him as living in Clitherall, MN. The MN Death Index shows Gorden Loken died 25 Nov 1918 Cert #13401. His death certificate may show a location of burial. Just found a burial record on Ancestry.com for 'Gordan Loken' died 25 Nov 1918 buried Dec 1 1918 First English Lutheran Church Fergus Falls, MN!! There are 207 cemeteries listed in Otter Tail County, MN on Find A Grave and First English Luthern Is not one of them. The Otter Tail County Historical Society may be able to help you further.

RE: Hillgrove Cemetery, Connelsville, Pa
I found a Charles Louis Lotman who was born Oct. 24, 1879 in Berkeley Springs, WV and who resided in Greensburg, Westmoreland Co., PA. Wife was Susan Lotman. Is this who you are looking for? I found his death certificate and it states he was buried in Hill Grove. Like I said, I will check my records and photos.
