Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am new to Find A Grave. Ever since the day I first discovered it, I spend hours at a time on it searching and researching. There are a lot of cemeteries in my area and a lot of picture requests. The weather is starting to improve here now so will get to as many of those as I can as soon as I can. Even before I discovered Find A Grave, one of my pasttimes was to visit old cemeteries and read the grave markers.

Pleasie Sizemore
Hi, my name is Cherry Schenck, and i am researching my gg grandparents on my mothers side.
they were W,R, Sizemore born about 1869 in Miss and his wife Pleney { Pleasie } Mayo Sizemore who was born in Ark, about 1876,
They had a dau, Pearl Lena Sizemore born in Vian Okla in 1894,and she died in Roswell New Mexico in 1926,
I know they lived in Webbers Falls Okla and were married in Muskogee District Court in 1893 and i know he remarried in 1896 to a Nettie Hayes,
but this is the extent of my knowledge of them,.
I have no clue where W.R. and Pleney[Pleasie} are buried or when.
You mention a Sizemore cem., i wonder if they are relations?

Joe E Bowling Cemetery
Brenda,
I was in error about the Cemetery being moved. Took a second look at the folder and it said the Cemetery was removed from the contract by Corp of Engineers.

William & Rebecca Rice
Brenda,
William is my Great Great Grand Uncle. A brother to Jacob Rice, both sons of Jeremiah and Polly Rice. He and Rebecca also had two other children. 1. Jesse Rice and 2. Robert, who died between 1880 and 1900. I can find no record of him after 1870. Jesse died when he was 4 1/2 months old of a fever. The 1910 census shows Rebecca had 8 of her 10 children alive at that time. John I believe was married three time. His last wife was Edna, maiden name Rice, I believe the daughter of Henry Rice from Owsley County. Rachel married again to a Couch, I believe Levi might have been his first name. A Levi and Rachel are living in Perry County in 1940. Rachel Counh died in 1949 and listed Bill and Rebecca as her parents.. I believe Abraham was married to Phronia. There is a Phroney Rice buried in Gibson Branch Cemetery Sizerock, Leslie County and it has on it Abe Rice husband. An Abraham Rice buried at Napier Cemetery in Clay County, who died in 1940. There were two Rice graves moved when Buckhorn Lake was built from the Joe E Bowling Cemetery. 1. F.E. Rice and Pres Rice. both had field stones, but were identified. The next time I get back to Kentucky I will check on a marriage document. I live in east central Indiana. If I can be of any help please let me know.

John Rolfe of Virginia Colony-Jamestown
Hi ~ Just noticed your kind tribute note at John Rolfe's findagrave memorial. Thank you for posting it there.

I am also a descendant of him, through his third wife Jane Pierce - her father was also a prominent Jamestown colonist.

So . . . I guess that makes us VERY distant cousins.

Happy Spring Season to you, Cousin!
