Bio and Links
I'm primarily a family historian and generally limit my findagrave activities to family, but occasionally I'll get a few extra grave photos.

I'm the author of The First Two Malone Families to Settle in Gibson County, Indiana Territory, which can be accessed for free at archive.org.

I'm also the author of The Pioneer Williams Families of Smith Township, Posey County, Indiana, which can also be accessed for free at archive.org.

I'm researching several early families that settled near what would later become Phillipstown, White County, Illinois: Johnston, Brown, Hon, Hughes, Russell and many others.

And I've recently starting researching the descendants of pioneer settler James Davis, who settled in Jackson County, Illinois in 1808, when it was still part of Knox County, Indiana Territory. The book may also cover the ancestry of Sarah Adaline Hanks and her Rodden, Williamson and other ancestors.

RE: Gure Sando and her son Ingebrit
Thanks for the link to your blog. I will be following your biking adventures. If you ever have time to swap Sando stories, I'd be happy to share. Lars died in 1871; the courthouse burned in 1876 -- so those records are lost. His tattered Declaration of Intent is in Ingebrit's homestead file.

RE: Gure Sando and her son Ingebrit
I have a copy of the family history. Gure/Guri was my gr-gr grandma; her son, Ole, was my gr-grandpa. 'Have been looking for Guri's husband, Lars, in Emmet County, IA for several years. Have you found him?

Hi Steve -

How are you related to Gure and Ingebrit? Do you have a copy of the Lars and Gure Sando family history?

RE: Malone Relatives
Hello Steve
I tried sending an email to address that you have here, but it came back faster than I could get up. Do you have a new one.

Hello

If you would like transfers for the Malones that you sent me edits for, I will gladly do that for you. I am not related to them, and I believe that memorials belong to family whenever possible.

Mariah N (Kennett) Malone
Hi Steve,
I have added the maiden name to Mariah, but I will be glad to transfer her to you, since you are a Malone. Let me know. Also, will you write me direct at glsdcs@yahoo.com. I would like to know more about Elijah Malone, whose stone is all by itself in front of our Spore family lot, right next to the drive, at Owensville Cem. GLS
