Allen Ernest Quickle
Memorial # 72464320 Allen Ernest Quickle. His Mother was Rhoda Dyer. Allen's father George W, Quickle was married three times. I have info on both sides going back many years.

Memorial 81244677 Have you done any research on Annie's family? I am seeking information on some of her siblings: Susie Hughes 1 Sept 1887- Delaware Dist. Indian Territory, Nellie Hughes 31 Aug 1896-Delaware Dist. Indian Territory and Fannie Hughes 14 Apr. 1898, Delaware Dist. Indian Territory. Did these women ever marry? If so, what were their married names, spouses names, and marriage dates.

My husband is from the George Washington Hughes line.

Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

Hi Joe,

Sometime ago I sold the discharge to a fellow collector and I will see if he wants to sell it and the file.

Hey Joe, I'm leaving for the day and won't be back online until mid next week. I will look you up on Ancestry. I have family coming in tonight and I'm taking off on leave.

I will give Helen's number to my dad and see if it still works. He just couldn't believe it.

Aunt Sylvia is right. He remembers her too. Is she still alive?

RE: Daisy Quickle Hulsey
Sorry JOe, dad says Aunt Helen lives in Bartlesville. He says she must be in her late 80's or early 90's. Her husband's name was Toby. If you want to send me a private message with any phone number for her, my dad just told me he would love to call her.

RE: Daisy Quickle Hulsey
My dad remembers Helen. Is she the one that lives in California?

I will see him tonight as they are travelling to my home. He will be shocked when I tell him a Quickle got in contact with me.

Please do link them. I am not on this site often and others are the one's who linked Daisy's memorial to me.

I have an account on Do you have an account on there you can link me to that would help me fill in my research on the Quickle side?

Joe I got your message, and yes we may be related.

My grand mother was Daisy (Quickle) Hulsey. She married Ed Clift and took his name many years after her husband died.

Daisy was born in Galiopolis Ohio in 1905. Her mother was Nora Swope from Philadelphia.

My dad is 85 and remembers the Quickle's in Oklahoma very well and they lived with them when he was a kid. He remembers them (Mason and others) very well.

Daisy's parents were Nora Estelle Swope, and her father was Allen Ernest Quickle.

I don't have the Quickle's family line researched beyond Allen.

Another cousin
But I'm a Quiggle. I've been researching all branches of this family for quite a long time, and I think you might be someone who can help with a few sticky problems in Gallia Co. I'll make a list of questions later, if you're willing. But, more important, I'm thinking of starting a Quickel/Quiggle DNA study. I cannot maintain it because of advanced age, but I can get things started. I've been using FamilyTreeDNA, and I'd sure like to try to find a male from each branch to do the test, and I wonder if you would volunteer or know someone else who would do it. I don't know if it's better to get the oldest male in the family or any male will do. In fact, I have trouble understanding the whole concept and what test to havef that will get results back the farthest. They have a reduced rate for DNA study groups. I look forward to hearing from you.
