RE: Picture of grave stone
Hey Rhonda! I sent you an email a couple of weeks ago. If you didn't get it let me know and I'll resend it. You might also check your spam folder just in case it's in there.

Call me a "newbie". Never mind, I found the button in front of my face to request a new photo.

Nothing like making a public mistake to make you feel stupid.

RE: Picture of grave stone
I can appreciate your position and I know what it's like getting used to a new camera. As there's already pictures there can you tell me how to request new pictures of their grave stones? I'm kind of new to this site. Maybe someone in that area can re-take the pictures.

Melissa C Guthrie Beaver and Cyrus M Beaver are my 2nd great grandmother and grandfather on my mothers side.

Thank you for responding so quickly to my request. I appreciate your time and effort in this.

Thanks!

Robert

Picture of grave stone
Rhonda,
Would it be possible to get a clearer picture of (63928058) MC Beaver? The existing picture is quite blurry.

Many Thanks!

Thanks for sending the link to his mother. I've added it as well as additional information from the 1880 Scott County Census.

RE: William J Lang stones
I'm not sure what you mean by "on your site." I simply take tombstone pictures and add them to Find-a-Grave. I never add a page for anybody without seeing the tombstone myself and taking a picture of it, and I always check the GPS coordinates for the cemetery to make sure I'm putting the person in the correct cemetery. Cemeteries often have multiple names, however, so it may well be that some of these other Antioch Cemeteries are the same cemetery. The crucial thing is to check the GPS coordinates and map.

RE: William J Lang stones
It sounds like a cemetery dupe to me. Do they both have maps? If so, do the maps show them in the same place? If one doesn't have a map, my guess is that somebody added it as an error -- duped one that was already there. If they're the same cemetery, they need to be merged (which can be accomplished by sending a correction request to the cemetery fix-it forum).

It's easy to figure out how to manage a page -- and yes, you could transfer it to somebody else later. Or at least I think you could. I'll transfer the Langs to you. I don't see any Kilgores or Harrisons. I'll also check on the other Antioch Cemeteries. I don't remember the cemetery at all.

If I transfer the page to you, you would be able to edit and add information. Anybody can add pictures to a page, but only the person who created it can add or edit text (or do things like rearrange the order of the pictures). If the person who created the page transfers it to somebody else, then the adding/editing/rearranging rights move to that person.
