Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in Pueblo, CO since 1984, but was born in West Virginia, which is where my family history interests (and a large part of my heart!) lie. The lines I'm working are Auten, Bowers, Cline, Morgan, Stephens, Jackson, Voight, Friedling, Seedars, Corrick, Kirkwood, Edwards, Harris, White, etc, etc.

I'm so grateful for all the help I've had on findagrave from photo volunteers living in that area. I try to get back there every couple years and take more pix myself. I love taking them, and I am fascinated by family history research. If I can help any of my fellow 'grave diggers', I'm happy to do so.

If any of my photos would be a help to you in your collecting, please feel free to use them.

RE: Earnest Stephan
You are welcome Kathy!! I didn't send an edit for his wife, I thought she would see the photo and make a memorial for her. There is also a son I believe on the other side of their stone Frederick, I didn't see a memorial for him either. Carla

Auten family

Albert Auten
Kathy, there are a few Auten family members in Greenlawn Cemetery but Albert does not appear to be one of them. Adjacent immediately is the older yard, Mount Rose, and according to a conversation I had with the groundskeeper, there are a number of Auten's in Mt. Rose. All paper records went up in a fire decades ago, so one must walk the whole yard to find family.

RE: John Mack Doty transfer
I have not able to confirm that he is related to my Mary Doty. I transferred him to you. Enjoy,

RE: John Mack Doty transfer
Kathy, Finally spent some time trying to track down John Mack Doty's ancestry. I didn't get very far. I suspect that he MIGHT and that is only a might, be the son of Joseph Doty & Mary Ellen Rankin. They married in 1851 in Belmont Co, OH. I am not able to go back any further than Joseph. Joseph's approximate birth year fits into the generation of my Mary Doty, as a possible nephew. However, I am not able to find any of Mary's brothers having a son named Joseph. This doesn't mean he isn't, its just that I am not finding any records. I found an ancestry tree at Ancestry that looked interesting until I discovered that the owner merged two individuals into one. Probably a case of taking Ancestry's hints as fact. Are you a member of Ancestry? I created a small tree named John Mack Doty. I would be happy to send you invitation to see what I dug up.
