It is very interesting that Isabelle and Anna Goss both had children named Willetta. That can not be a coincidence.
I did not mention a Gracie Attie or John Searles. Must have been someone else.
It looks like you are making good progress.

Thanks for confirming that they were brothers. I wasn't sure about that or if they were cousins. I saw that they lived together with a McClelland family at one point (relationship to family was listed as "other").

A lot of my source links in the blog were set up wrong but I've hopefully fixed them.
You've probably found that Alma Mabel married John R Barber in 1909 then lived in Joliet in 1910-1920 with at least 3 children. I can find a divorced John R in 1940 in Joliet but I did not track Alma.
Clifford stayed in the Joliet/Rockdale area and married (Elizabeth Pritz?) and had many children including one named Almer. He had a daughter named Willetta but she died young ~ age3.
Yes I found that Peter McKinley and Anna's records were mixed. I contacted familysearch about it but they said it was ancestry's record and to contact them but I didn't.
I found the following in various records in famillysearch. I have no personal information about them. I hope I have not mixed up unrelated people. It seems that there was more than one Lyman Goss in this timeframe.
It appears to me that Isabelle (or Isabel or Belle) Lauer (born Jun 22 1861 in Dayton) married Edward Wingart (or WIngard or Wingerd) (Edward's parents were Josiah and Isabel, both from OH, lived in Taylor IL in 1860 then Dayton in 1880. Edward had a younger brother named Calvin.)
Edward and Isabelle Lauer lived in Cincinnati in 1880. In 1887 she married Lyman Goss in Montgomery County OH as Isabelle Wingard. Their son Calvin was born in Dayton in 1889. Isabelle died in Chicago in 1942.
Edward may have remarried to a Mary Hinebaugh and had a daughter Mary Adaline in OH in 1896.
Sorry I did not have all of the information in the blog published yesterday. I added it today including copies of John O'Connell's documents. It should all be there now.

I am unable to publicly view the blog. There may be a delay before it is published on line. I don't know why. It is my first blog and I am learning as I go.
|cloverleaf||RE: John O'Connell|
Yes I know a lot about them. I am working on a blog about the family history. It is not finished but most of what I know about John is complete. I just published it so you can view it. Go to http://oconnell-joliet.blogspot.com.
John had 7 daughters and 3 sons from 3 marriages. Yes he divorced second wife Anna Lauer Goss O'Connell McKinley.
The daughters from the marriage to Anna Goss were:
Kathryn "Kate" (or Katherine) who became Sr. Mary Rita O.P. in Nashville Tennesse but I cannot locate any info.
Mary Clara Feeney
Ida J (Carter?) Movitz
Willetta Elizabeth Ruffing
Children from first marriage were:
Josephine O'Connell Newberry Klein
William Frances (or Francis) O'Connell Sr.
You probably already know about Anna's children from her first marriage to Almer Goss: Alma Mabel and Clifford Richard.
I found some links that make me think that Anna may have had a sister named Isabelle and that she married a Lyman Goss who may had been Almer's brother. Do you have any info on that?

Just thought I would let you know that I did some other linking for her and added photos in case you would like to take a look.

According to the interment database, Helen is buried at Mountain View, that is why I created a memorial. I will check the burial location to see if there is a headstone.
