Bio Photo An avid genealogist, I find the search is the most fun and would enjoy helping others find a lost ancestor.

Living in Western New York quite close to the PA line with access to lots of cemeteries. I'm currently creating a new cemetery directory complete with GPS coordinates.

RE: Bell Run Cemetery
I never found anything to confirm his service but supposibly he served with Emma's cousins and met her visiting them or the family.. Still checking as I had forgotten a lot of this as her Haynes I am not directly related and I had only the one girl that is buried with Emma (maybe)..I don't have a complete list on her parents either...I did send edits on what I came across so we will se what gets accepted...

RE: Bell Run Cemetery
I never did like how they divided up the cemetery all I was ever told was old or new section... They have done some improvements up there and the last few times I went up to take pictures I ended up a little lost... I do not think Emma or either husband has a marker and neither does her Mother.. I Think Emma and her family are buried near them which is on the bottom of the back hill.... Let me do some checking.. I will get Emma connected to her parents and husbands.. Do you have any info confirming Freeman's service in the Civil War??

Albert Clapp photo
Thanks for posting a photo of the gravestone for Albert Clapp in Valley View Cemetery, Ellington, NY. The weather in NY lately has not been very friendly for taking photos in cemeteries. Wish I could send you some of our Florida weather.

Alvah Lawrence, Hazel Lawrence, Deforest Lawrrence
Thank you for providing photographs of the gravestones of Alvah Lawrence, Hazel Lawrence, and Deforest Lawrence in the Valley View Cemetery, Ellington. These were cousins of mine, their mothers were children of Willet Stillman Cottrell, who died in the Civil War. They both married brothers in the Lawrence family. These help us to better understand and appreciate our ancestors.
