I apologize for the delay in responding to your request, but I was called out of town unexpectedly for the past several days. I have made the spelling change you requested. Thank you for your input.

Elijah R. Stewart
Hello Francis,

I'm a descendant of the Marsh family and live in Los Angles. I've just returned from a research trip to Ohio and searched Ray's Corner's cemetery for Elijah Stewart's marker (unsuccessfully).

I will write you an email to the address you posted on your Find A Grave page and let you know more.

I assume you are a descendant of the Stewart family that produced Elijah.

RE: Thomas Jefferies
There is one other if you have it. It is Abbie Jefferies, wife of Thomas. She died Oct 1, 1903 in Spencer, Medina, OH. I just didn't find anything as to her burial, so am not sure if she was buried with Thomas, or if buried back in MI. It is her that I am actually connected with.
Thanks so much for offering to do the extra checking.

RE: Elijah R. Stuart, Rays Corners Cemetery
I had a friend out that way search, as he was searching for others. It looked like someone else had previously searched with no luck. I know how frustrating that is when there's no stone. I run into that quite a bit with my family. But alot of people had no money back then. Good luck in your searches!
