RE: Neil Johnston
That it is great to hear. I am glad you had a friend in Neil. He sounds like he was one heck of a great guy. Thanks again and Happy New Year.

RE: Neil Johnston
Hi Geri,

I have since found his death certificate that lists the city where he is buried. At least that gives me a starting point. Thank You.

Hi Geri,

I was curious if you knew where he was interred? I would like to have his page updated with burial location if at all possible. His death certificate says cremation, but then I saw your note on his page.

Thanks, K

RE: Gordon Cantrell
Geri, Let me show you how this can work. Click on my name and it will take you to my site. Type in the name Edward Cantrell in the name box. When the name comes up, click on it. You will see the site of my great grandfather Edward Harvey Cantrell. Included is a biography, a couple photos, and links to his parents, his spouse amd his children's graves. Hit on his father, and see the same. You can go backwards, the other way after going back to Edward Harvey, chose Martha his oldest daughter, at her site choose Dorothy, my mother. I consider this a lasting tribute to them, a way of honoring my parents and also helping distant cousins find their roots. Hope this helps. Dona

Geri, I wrote the other previous message before I looked at your three sites. I'll take mine down. There should only be one site for him up and it looks like you did three. Maybe you should pick one, consolidate and take the other two down.
You can do that by going to the edit tab on the top right side of the site above the photo. After hitting that tab it will give you choices where you can make changes or delete the site. Dona

Geri, Would you like me to transfer the management of this site to you? You could add his birthdate, write a bio. Say who his parents, siblings, family were. What branch of service he was he in?
I would have gone looking for his obituary to do more but I have been distracted lately. If you don't want to do it yourself, I'll be glad to put up whatever you want to add.
I try to connect all the direct line to each other so if you know where his parents are buried and siblings if they are gone as well, they can all be tied together. I would be glad to help. I can do the work and transfer it back if you want.
My maternal grandmother was a Cantrell so I try to see if we are related. Dona

Gordon Arquette
Geri, I am Faye's husband. Gordon was my uncle. He passed when I was about seven so I don't have a lot of memories of him. What I do remember is meeting him and Gladys at the airport in Lexington at christmas and of visiting them in Blue Ridge. I remember that he was fun to be around and of walking around Blue Ridge with him. Thank you for responding to Faye. It is always nice to be able to hear from those who knew Gordon and Gladys.

John P Jackson III

PS: Gladys was my father's sister.
