|Hubert Knauff, Jr.||RE: Email from reseacher on Kemp|
None. I merely snapped a photo or two of MARY KEMP BLANTON & her husband's graves and posted them. The name "MARY KEMP" matches the married name of my sister's late mother-in-law, and the graves lie in close proximity in Cairo Cemetery. I was taking her in-law's or perhaps someone else's grave photos and off the cuff decided to take the BLANTON graves photos also. Then you wrote me. After time passed I was simply sending you info that MIGHT provide data (if KEMPs & BLANTONs are related) and you desired such information. That's all. Sorry if that added confusion...

Hi Carey, Our Kemp line is mostly in the midwest. We have ancestors from Penn, Ohio, and some in South Dakota. Let me know if we are related! First Kemp over was Samuel Kemp from Gwenapp, Cornwall, Wales/England.

Carey The pics are great and Thank You again . The cloth on ground where the grave is was a great idea. Much appreciated. Ron
|Ronald Mau||RE: Photo Request Benjamin Kintz|
Carey Thank you for your help. Please post a photo of his grave site if you wish. Could you possibly email me the photos via reg email and I can have them for myself also. Many thanks for your help. I have a gr gr grandfather buried close to me and they never did put a stone there. I was going to make one out of wood, paint it and get his name and dates on and take photo and then remove it.My email address is email@example.com

Most grateful for your help in securing picture for me. Ron
I have been trying to send you the photo of James Strickland so you could add but it keeps coming back un-deliverable. I had it due to I had photographed the whole cemetery and completed in May and have been downsizing and adding all the photos. Saw I had this one and thought it might help.
Thank you so much for photographing the nameplates for Joseph D. Orth and his wife, Doris. By the way, did you mean "mausoleum" (first word in caption for the photo)?

I just went through my Find A Grave e-mails and realized that somehow I failed to transfer management of the Blantons to you. I do apologize for the delay. Usually, I am more prompt. Hope you will find the transfers you requested now fulfilled.

Thank you for taking photos of James and Mildred Mullenax's headstones for me. James was my grandmother's brother, Mildred his wife. It was the first time I have ever used the "request a photo" tab and I wasn't sure what to expect. Wow, that was fast and I just can't thank you enough.
|Hubert Knauff, Jr.||RE: Joseph James Blanton|
You're welcome. I have always found this set of gravestones interesting particularly because I could not get much of an answer regarding just who this couple actually was. One of my sisters married a KEMP, whose parents were buried in the Cairo Cemetery in near proximity to the BLANTONS. Mr. Joseph James Blanton's wife was Mary Kemp, the same married name my brother-in-law's mother had. However, neither my brother-in-law nor his brother could clearly identify who this second Mary Kemp was to me. The graves so near each other, I sort of assumed she might be related to them. I do know that Mary Irwin married Bryant Kemp and my brother-in-law is the older of their 2 sons. Perhaps you can enlighten me on who Mary Kemp Blanton is beyond the wife of J.J.Blanton.
